These are high-quality laminates, and they've already been used. I recently purchased a Swingline laminator for a 5x7 project, and each sleeve came out perfectly laminated. In just one pass, there are no bubbles, scuffs, jams, or poor adhesion. I even punched a hole in the corner so that I could hang the project, and the adhesion is still excellent. To avoid damaging your laminator, make sure to punch the hole after laminating. br>br>The quality is so good that I ordered two more packages within a week of the first.
mil pouches, and the entire procedure was simple, quick, and lovely. Before being heated, the pouches are opaque, but after lamination, they are crystal clear. Note: In addition, I purchased additional 4x6 5-inch prints. Although the Oregon brand pouches produced crystal clear, beautiful results, I prefer the Tyh Supplies brand because the closed edge on the Tyh pouches is on one of the short sides, whereas the Oregon pouches' closed edge is on one of the longer sides. It may not seem like a big deal, but I found that inserting and centering the card with the short edge closed was much easier. However, I wholeheartedly endorse both brands. with enthusiasm.
I was a little disappointed because these appear to be thinner than other brands of 3ml laminating pouches I've tried. I also had issues with them creasing as they went through the machine (which I've never had with any other machine I've used), as well as curling on the ends. I was disappointed to have such problems when the whole point of laminating the school materials we use is to make them look nice and help them last longer. The kids are frustrated by the curling edges and creases when they try to use them.
Because the standard laminating size wasn't large enough, I used this lamination to laminate my larger name plates for my classroom. br>br>I've had the name plates on my students' desks for two weeks and the lamination is already peeling away. It isn't the laminating machine because I have other items on the tables that have been laminated with a different brand of lamination and are still in good condition. br>br>I would NOT recommend this brand because you will be wasting money. It simply does not withstand the test of time. I'm looking for a different brand so that I can laminate new nameplates. br>br>Unfortunately, because I use Velcro to secure my other nameplates to the desks, I'll have to toss them. I guess I lost more money than the cost of these laminating sheets in total. 😒.
My job requires me to laminate a lot of sheets, and I couldn't afford to keep spending the money I was. I came across these and decided to try them. I was very pleased with my purchase and have used almost all of them for one project. They work well in the machine, though the static on the sheets can get a little crazy at times, which is a good thing because the papers don't move while being applied. These sheets do not appear to be as strong as others I've purchased (thick), but they do the job. It was well worth the money. I'll have a better idea of how durable they are once school starts and we're back in the classroom, but I don't think that will be an issue! One satisfied customer thanks to a fantastic product and an even better price.
I ran the entire pouch through my admittedly low-cost laminator and noticed that a few of them didn't seal well around the edge of the card stock inside the pouch. br>br>It's possible that my laminator is beginning to lose its ability to maintain heat for long periods of time - I worked on the project for several hours - However, I have never experienced this problem with other MFG's lamination pouches.
These laminating sheets are absolutely fantastic! I'm a teacher, so I laminate a lot of things, and I bought these because they were cheap and came in a bulk pack. They perform equally well as more expensive laminating pouches.
The thickness of the laminating sheets is excellent. br> Excellent condition. However. br>br> I wish it had included the cardboard carrier for sliding it through the laminating machine. br>br>Fortunately, I had some large carriers that I used on my 8x11s. It was also compatible with the 5x7s I purchased. br>br>When I run out, I'll purchase from them again.
