These sheets work well in my Purple Cows hot and cold small home laminator.
The corners are rounded, as you might expect.
I've successfully laminated an old photograph for a driver's license, and photos printed on paper from a digital camera will also laminate.
A standard sheet of paper (eight by ten inches) The pouch can hold a 5"x11" piece of paper.

My wife ironed two sheets with an 8 x 11 inch piece of paper sandwiched between them, and it turned out perfectly; the first time, the iron was too hot; the second time, with a cooler iron, it looks like a factory job.
They held up well, and they appear to be in perfect condition even after moderate use (I made them about a month ago). br>br>I made the cards with an iron, and it turned out great. They weren't as smooth as they could have been with a laminating machine, but they were close. Put them in a blank t-shirt and call it a day. For about 20 seconds, iron the top of the shirt. It took longer than I anticipated, but I kept it from burning by moving constantly. br>br>I would highly recommend these sheets because the cards turned out to be very sturdy.
In our homeschool classroom, we laminate a lot of things. The pages are extremely long-lasting, which I appreciate. We use them as game pieces (they have Velcro on the backs) and with dry erase markers. I've never had a piece come apart, even though I've used other lamination products in the past. They didn't last as long as they should have. I can also use water to remove marker from pieces that have been cut ((lightly)). There hasn't been any issues so far. Definitely a good investment!.
What comes with the laminator is the same as what comes with the laminator. I just got the book.
They are a little more costly than others, but they ALWAYS work.
I've only used my new Scotch laminator on one sheet so far, and it's worked perfectly. The words "3 mil" are nowhere to be found on the package. Mark the package if you'll be keeping both 3 mil and 5 mil pouches on hand.
This is a fantastic and easy to use laminater! When our neighbors' children visit, I love to use this with them. When we're finished, we laminate our crafts and drawings. It's also very easy to use; simply allow it to warm up, wait for the green light to appear, and double-check that your sheets are free of air pockets.
