Questions & Answers

Is this a 50-piece set that will cover 50 front and back papers, or 50 individual sheets that will cover 25 front and back papers?

There are 50 sheets in total. It's a 25-page book with a front and back cover. Alternatively, one sheet can be folded in half to cover 50 half-sheets. Front and back pages are the same size.

Is the finish on these glossy or matte? Something non-toxic is what I'm looking for. glare. ?

I'd say a low-gloss, semi-matte finish; the ones I used on the fabric resemble scotch tape, and the rest were used to cover high-gloss photos to make them appear glossy. My ceiling fan light does not glare when viewed from the side, but it does reflect when viewed from the front. I hope this has been of assistance.

Is it possible to write on these with a dry erase marker? Is it going to stay? Is it possible to take it off at a later time?

You can write on them with dry erase markers. You'd have to wait for it to dry before wiping it off, and even then, you'd probably be able to do so with ease.

Is it possible to put two sheets of paper back-to-back? Is it possible to laminate the back and the front at the same time?

Yes, this will work, and the laminating sheets are large enough for it, but unless you glue the two sheets together before laminating, you will inevitably end up with a document that is larger than the sheets themselves. Consider it for a moment. You must leave a laminated "rim" around all four edges of the document to seal it together if you are trying to bind two loose sheets together.

WARNING TO BUYERS! Please read the following information
5/5

So, these are the glossy sheets that I use for my small business, and I love them. br>br>However, I recently purchased one of these and received one that was clearly a fake. My first order was "Made in Mexico," which means they're thicker and the backing peels off easily. When I received my most recent order, I immediately noticed something was wrong: the backing peeled off poorly, the texture of the film was blotchy and thin, and the packaging color was off. So I did a comparison and found that yes! A sticker over the Made in Mexico said "Made in US" on the most recent one I received. My initial order was not fulfilled. As a result, I requested a return as soon as possible. I just got my replacement, and it looks exactly like my first order, which I'm pleased with because that's exactly what I wanted. Therefore, BEWARE! I'm not sure how these are chosen. My only certainty is that my second order of this was a forgery. Before using it, look for signs that it is a fake.

- Made in Mexico should be mentioned. br>- br>- The backing should be easy to remove. Instead of being blotchy, the laminate sheet should be clear.

A truly terrible product - I can't get the paper to peel away from the sheet! I tried it out on a few sheets and have included photos of the ends of one of them: The 'PEEL HERE' end of the sheet, as you can see, does not peel away cleanly! Is it possible that it's because the sheets are dry? (See below for a note about the other two brands that come with sheets in cellophane bags

) ) I tried Avery on several sheets and got the same result. br>br>I've tried both Scotch single-sheet and double-sheet Scotch single-sheet Scotch single-sheet Scotch single-sheet Scotch single-sheet Scotch single-sheet Scotch single-sheet Sco side, as well as the Everest single- Each product's side sheets and sheets pack are packaged separately inside the cardboard box in a sealed cellophane bag. Avery, on the other hand, is not one of them. I'm taken aback by Avery's name, as it's usually associated with labels and the like. It was a waste of $12 to purchase this item, but I've been experimenting with which brand is the best, and while I'm at it - and for those of you who only require a single-use item, Here's some feedback on the back of the laminate sheet: EVEREST EVEREST EVEREST EVEREST EVEREST EVEREST EVEREST EVEREST EVEREST EVEREST EVEREST In comparison to SCOTCH, this is the better of the two. The elevation of Everest is three million feet. Sheets peel easily and have fewer bubbles and wrinkles, making them easier to smooth out. I can even reposition the sheet by lifting a corner. That's not possible with Scotch. SCOTCH 6 mil br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br> Sheets peel easily but are much more difficult to control in terms of bubbles, creases, and other issues. AND once that sticky sheet makes contact with your surface (mine is Canon photo quality color printer paper), it is stuck and cannot be moved or peeled back to correct; I tried once and the glossy paper separated! If you need a thick laminate, Scotch 6 mil is the way to go. If you can live with a thinner 3 mil, that would be the best option. Then I notice that Everest is a lot better. I suppose it's a case of 'Live and Learn' for Avery. It's not worth it to try to get back; I'll just eat the $12 and think of myself as a little wiser.

This is the ideal solution for at-home lamination
5/5

These were incredible! When I went to an office supply store recently, I was surprised to learn that a single sheet of paper would cost more than $1 to laminate. I returned home in search of other options and came across these. It was simple to position and reposition the document on the page, as well as to cover them without the use of bubbles. I made little cards for a long road trip we were taking so the kids would know what state we were in, where we were going to stop next, and when we were going to eat. It reduced the number of times you had to answer the same questions. The best part was that I could use a dry erase marker to write on the cards and they would wipe clean without leaving a stain.

Dye-It-Yourself Dye-It-Yourself Dye- Stickers must be cut! This is a fantastic product that I use to cover my vinyl dye
4/5

It's great if you cut stickers. Because of the extreme stickiness, be aware that once this comes into contact with paper, there is no way to adjust it without tearing it. If you don't line everything up perfectly before even touching the paper with it, you'll have to start over with your project. This has provided excellent protection for my stickers, as well as making my water resistant vinyl waterproof. It's tough, has the right thickness, and has excellent clarity. br>As good as this product is, I have two complaints that prevent me from giving it five stars. First, this laminate is prone to fine scratches, so if you're making stickers, be aware that these will show up. Second, I use a Cricut Explore Air 2 to cut my stickers and no matter how new the blade is or what settings I use I still get jagged edges or drag marks on 20 I'm not having any problems cutting anything else, so I know it's the laminate. I can smooth out the jagged edges, but I can't do anything about the drag marks. It cuts well with scissors, so if you only need to cut it for simple projects, you'll be fine. br>There are ways around these issues, and everyone's projects are different, so I still highly recommend this product, and I'll continue to buy it! br>This is how I went about submitting my application:
1. I cut the laminate to the exact dimensions of my project. There is a small strip at the top of the laminate that you can peel off to get started; DO NOT cut that piece off when trimming your project to fit it. br>2. To keep my project from moving around while applying the laminate, I tape the bottom to a smooth surface. *To avoid air bubbles, make sure the surface is completely smooth
3. I remove the above-mentioned backing strip and line everything up PERFECTLY before pressing the laminate to my project. br>3. I fold back the laminate and peel up just enough of the backing to get a good grip, then lay it back down while still holding the backing.
4. With one hand, I slowly peel off the backing while using the other to squeegee out any air bubbles. *For best results, keep your squeegee hand running along the backing as it pulls away
5. After removing the backing, I tape wax paper over my project and use a hard plastic scraper to ensure the laminate is completely adhered and any air bubbles are removed. * To keep the scraper from scratching the laminate, I cover it with wax paper. I use tape to keep the wax paper from sliding around and scratching the laminate
6. I cut out my stickers after removing the wax paper and tape from the project's bottom. br>This was ideal for me, and I hope it is as well for you.

Save your money; it's not worth it! The heartache begins when you print your finished product and attempt to "Laminate" it! This was an EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING OPPORTUNITY! I followed the instructions exactly and still got WRINKLES and/or BUBBLES in everything I tried to attach the sheets to, and there is no going back
3/5

Once stuck, the adhesive tears away whatever it was stuck to, but please be aware that there is no going back. br>br>I am a retired teacher who "successfully used clear contact paper" in the previous century. the seventies 80's. "br>br>You will have a better chance of avoiding wrinkles if you cut apart the pieces you HOPE to laminate and then carefully place them individually, but air bubbles will still appear regardless!.
