This is fantastic! Sturdy. It's a strong material that's used to laminate paper. I'm a teacher, and I use them for a variety of purposes.
We laminated them at 130 degrees F in a wide laminator. It might work if you start heating on one edge and work your way across, but I don't think they'll look as good. If you're going to make a lot of these, get an Oregon Lamination machine with a big enough opening.
The INK has no effect on them. However, depending on the paper, you may encounter additional issues. Heat-sensitive film/coatings are common on glossy photo paper. br>br>I've laminated a lot of projects, and the only time I've ever had a problem with it was when it came to thermal-sensitive materials. Papers that are reactive (duh). Before you laminate your paper, it's a good idea to check if it's thermally reactive.
There are no round corners on them. In fact, the corners are quite sharp after they've been laminated. For classroom use, I usually round them up myself. Having said that, I will never purchase another brand. I adore how long they last.

All of these pouches have now been used. It took two years to complete the project. They are reasonably priced. Both in terms of price and quality, this item is extremely inexpensive. I was hanging display art with these on a backdrop that I transport from one art show to another, and they are relatively durable enough to withstand hole punching, storage, transport, and set-up. up/down, etc. But I've certainly put them to the test. The sleeves on many of them were never completely sealed. The majority of the laminated items I made last year are separating in the middle. I would be ashamed of the quality of these if I were using them for menus or anything else that I would put in the hands of my customers. br>And, for the record, to be clear. I initially assumed the streaking was caused by the laminating machine, but when I held the laminate up to a dark surface and to the light by itself (no art), I could see the streaks before it even came into contact with the machine, and the laminating machine had run other sleeves without streaks. br>Use with caution.
These pouches are fantastic for laminating. I needed some 5 mil pouches for a project, and the price point of these pouches appealed to me. Despite the fact that they aren't a well-known brand, they perform admirably. They are over 1/4" larger on each side to accommodate a ledger-size sheet of paper. They have a very smooth and clear laminate. These pouches and this brand are something I would recommend.
11x17 prints are covered by this size. Their cost is very reasonable in comparison to the quality. Menus, posters, and other signage can all benefit from this type of design. One thing to keep in mind is that you'll need a laminate machine capable of handling 5 mil sheets. My old machine can only handle 3 mil sheets and can't handle 5 mil sheets. As a result, double-check that your laminater can handle thicker sheets. I will most certainly tell my friends about this brand.
Our Amazon Basics laminator works well with these. We use them all the time, especially now that Covid is available. By allowing us to sanitize menus after each use, it saves both time and money.

Ideal for diplomas with a lot of information on them. It doesn't glie very well when it comes to conservation. I completed one diploma and had to retake it several times because of the heat. However, in terms of size, it's exactly what I'm looking for.

These laminating sheets look nice and worked well with the Apache AL13 Laminator I bought for a low price. br>Because of the quantity-to-price ratio, I was able to make a few mistakes without feeling bad about wasting product.
