Rockford Fosgate R1675X2 Prime 6.75-Inch Full Range 2-Way Coaxial Speaker - Set of 2

I don't usually write reviews, but these speakers are fantastic for the price, and they fit perfectly in my 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 Crew Cab. If you have the same truck, you'll need four of these speakers because the rear doors fit perfectly with these speakers. For the front doors, you can use the screws that came with the speakers, but you'll need to drill 3/32 holes first; for the back doors, no drilling is required, but you'll need to use the screws that came with your truck. The screws included with the speakers are excessively long. The front speakers don't need to be bracketed. These speakers do not work for them. I had to do the same thing with my truck. If you own the same truck, this will save you time.

In my initial review (3 stars), I gave these a low rating due to the almost non-existent packaging. Even with plenty of boost from my head unit's equalizer, the bass they generated after installation was non-existent. I knew I wouldn't be satisfied unless I added a subwoofer, so I bought a second pair for my back deck, despite the fact that I was satisfied with the mids and highs and desired balanced sound front and back. br>br>It appears that the lack of bass is due to the fact that I installed my first pair in the vehicle's front doors, where there simply isn't enough room for them to move enough air for their lower frequency capabilities, even with the addition of depth adapters. This became clear after I installed my second pair on the back deck of the vehicle. The rear pair's bass response was much better, and their overall sound quality was excellent (within their 50h-100h range). 20kHz). br>br>I'll still put in a subwoofer, but it's not as necessary as it once was. br>br>Note on installation: In a 1993 Subaru Impreza (IKR? ), I installed these. Because of the design and weight of the baskets used in their manufacture, adapters were required for both front and rear installation. You'll be happier with a speaker designed for OEM replacement if you want to save time and effort.

These were purchased to replace the stock rear speakers in a 2003 Subaru WRX. Because the stock speaker in one of the doors didn't work at all, I started with that side. I checked between the left and right speakers and set the fader to only the back speakers. the ideal proportions The stock speaker was louder and had a more complete sound than this one - Which is ironic because I thought the stock speakers were terrible. This one has a muffled sound to it - Mids are the only ones who make it - There were no extremes. There are six speakers in the front row. With a higher RMS and great sound, the 5" Infinity is the way to go. So I'm not sure why these aren't working, but given how ridiculously bad this speaker sounds, I'll probably leave the stock speaker in the other door. br>br>I notice there are a lot of positive reviews, but I'm not sure why. Maybe I got a bad pair, or they were replacing something worse than 2003 WRX speakers (which is difficult to believe).

I wanted a speaker that could easily keep up with a typical aftermarket powered head while also being able to wake up a stock system. br>I purchased these with a Metra adapter for my 2006 Lacrosse and did not require the adapters. These were a perfect fit for the GM ABS speaker rings, and there was plenty of room between them and the door panel. br>br>I compared L to R with a single door speaker and the stock Buick radio. The value for money was so good on this that I went ahead and ordered the Rockford Fosgate 6x9s to get the staging/imaging and quality I wanted. If you're just looking to upgrade a factory stereo to something that has some quality for under $200, you'll be happy with this head unit and two pairs of Rockfords.

I'd never buy another episode of the prime series. These speakers were more than enough and very good when I first got them, but they didn't even last a month before the glue holding a wire on came undone and ruined one of them. When I told some people I knew at an audio shop about it, they said it was common for them to fail. I wish I had had the opportunity to speak with them before purchasing them hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

It's not top-of-the-line, but it's a huge improvement over my old stock truck speakers for the price. They do have a bright sound, but they aren't using any additional tweeters. If you're looking for a good budget speaker, click the "Buy Now" button. Wire connectors or solder are all that's required for a simple installation.

These are excellent speakers that are made of materials that are designed to withstand the wide range of environments that speakers in a car will encounter. All of the components of this speaker are well-made, and each speaker comes with a long speaker cable. The main driver's ability to provide the best sound possible is hampered by the design of these speakers. This is not due to the manufacturer's fault, but rather to the design. Any speaker with a 2-inch diameter can be used. way or 3- This issue is expected in a way configuration with additional speaker elements in front of the main driver, but it's worth noting for those who aren't expecting it. Only the design is lacking in terms of durability. The extra components being held in front of the main driver is a weak point that can break if mishandled or accidentally hit. Overall, if you don't mind the minor flaws in the speaker design, this is a great buy with excellent sound quality. For a 3- On a stock stereo, this set is difficult to beat and will provide an excellent upgrade for the vast majority of people. These speakers should work just as well with any aftermarket head unit (stereo) that uses its own internal amplification, according to the specifications. I can't test this with my application because I don't have one. This book comes highly recommended.
