In other words, you can only read the wind as it appears. br>However, it will send data to your old autopilot, allowing you to keep track of your course in relation to apparent wind. br>S/Y TAO TAO TAO TAO TAO TAO TAO TAO TAO TAO

No, this isn't a radar display; it's just a wind display. It uses a masthead windvane transducer from Raymarine to provide wind direction and speed.

The sea talk cable is included in this kit, according to both the packing slip and the Raymarine product description. The sea talk cable, on the other hand, is not included in the box. Of course, the cable is necessary for the setup.
THIS WAS NOT THE RIGHT MODEL FOR MY VEHICLE - I DID NOT WANT TO KEEP IT AND RETURN IT UNUSED - I JUST CHECKED IN AFTER A FEW DAYS AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE VENOR WOULD NOT ACCEPT A RETURN - WHAT EXTREMELY RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
When working, it's great, but in direct sunlight, the needles stick and need to be shaded. It's been given an "un-" slant. It's not going anywhere. " It works fine when not in direct sunlight, and Raymarine claims to be working on a solution. " A lot of people are upset. It's possible that the i60's display has a flaw. I'd hold off on purchasing until the issue is resolved - Unless you only sail at night or when the sun isn't shining. Raymarine has since stated that some units were manufactured with an incorrectly set pin, resulting in the sticking. These units are being repaired or replaced as needed.
br>br>However, the needle white illumination makes them nearly unreadable at night. This isn't a particularly useful feature. Even when switching between Lamp settings, it's difficult to tell if they're part of other displays. It's a shame this wasn't thoroughly tested before being released. br>br>Sydney's Nigel Stokebr>.
These instruments are fantastic. It's essentially an updated version of the ST60 that can be easily replaced or upgraded. The masthead unit, as well as the cut out hole, are identical to those found on the ST60. To get started, all you'll need is a SeaTalk 1 to SeaTalk NG adapter cable (A06047) and a D244 junction block. These items range in price from $30 to $100. If you can find them used, you might be able to get them for less than 40 dollars.
