Questions & Answers
It includes a short cable that can be used to connect it to the backbone or another instrument. There's also the option of using a power cable.
The I60 display as well as the mast head wind transducer are required. The cabling and wiring for installing the wind system are included in the two units. You'll also need tooling to phish the cable through the mast, deck, cabin, and cockpit to the display's location in the cockpit. The most difficult aspect of the installation was phishing the cabling. If you already have a pod with depth and speed displays, you may need to purchase a pod to mount the display to the Wheel pedestal or relocate the other displays if you already have one. It is necessary to have a good phish line.

On a Hunter 36, I installed this. With about 6 feet to spare, the cable could reach the top of the mast. The instrument seamlessly integrated with my other Raymarine instruments and has performed admirably since its installation. To complete the installation, I had to unstep the mast, but it was well worth it. It was a great chance to get the rig serviced.
The item arrived quickly, and it appears to work as expected after installation, exceeding my expectations. My only complaint is that it did not include a power cable, which would have cost an additional $19. There were 95 items that I had to order separately from West Marine, and it appears that there were 875. 64 Instrument should have included a power cable, or at the very least stated that it was not included in the product description.
great.
It's a good product, but it came without the power cable, which I had to purchase separately from a disgruntled distributor who overcharged me.
very nice and good.
When working, it's great, but in direct sunlight, the needles stick and need to be shaded. It's been skewed by the fact that it's been shaded un It's not going anywhere. It works fine when not in direct sunlight, and Raymarine claims to be working on a solution. A lot of people are upset. It's possible that the i60's display has a flaw. I'd hold off on purchasing until the issue is resolved - Unless you only sail at night or when the sun isn't shining. Raymarine has since stated that some units were manufactured with an incorrectly set pin, resulting in the sticking. These units are being repaired or replaced as needed.
