That is not the case.
They're fresh off the press.
Actuators (button-like devices that raise and lower the blades); blades (stainless steel squares that plane the boat by going up and down); and Switch (I went with the manual because it was the least expensive and I'm not a fan of automatics). Unless you have 16 foot arms to hold a wrench outside and the wrench inside the engine housing, you'll need that, as well as a 6 pack or so of beer and a buddy to help.
All-electric and plug-in play. There will be no oily mess, and the control switch will be sold separately.

I looked up Lenco styles and found one that I liked, so I wanted to replace it with a like-for-like replacement; I didn't need the blades because mine were fine, but they came with the kit. My boat's mountings were at an angle, so the attachment to the blades was at an angle; I had to remove the older ones before I could begin, which took some time; my boat's mountings were at an angle, so the attachment to the blades was at an angle; I used the old angle cushions because the kit didn't have any. Because the bolts were too short, I had to use the old bolts, which I replaced with West Marine bolts, and then I had to install the new switch, which was a breeze because my boat already had a wire tube installed for this purpose. It took the better part of two days, mainly because I needed to remove the swim step in order to access one of the activators, which necessitated another person holding a wrench on the bolt inside the engine compartment while I unscrewed the bolt on the transom. Finally, TA DA, it's finished and it looks fantastic. The next day, I took it out and everything was perfect- I have more speed and control than I have in a long time, and it's a fantastic product. > > > > > > >.
In shallow water, less spray (depending on the wind, you'll never be able to avoid it entirely on most boats) smooths out waves and allows for a faster hole shot. In a nutshell, it's a bargain. br>br>In comparison to hydraulic tabs such as Bennett, these are much easier and less expensive to install. The hydraulic tabs are said to have other advantages, but focusing on the product at hand, I can tell you that they are a fantastic option. br>br>The LED switch, in my opinion, is unnecessary. It's not difficult to figure out where they're hiding. Plus, when you turn the key off, the regular switch retracts automatically, which is the most important feature for avoiding tab damage. br>br>This is a product that I strongly recommend.
These were installed on a 2007 Key West 186CC to allow me to keep it trimmed with non-alcoholic beverages. boat- On board, there were a lot of smart people who did an excellent job. I'd like to point out that, due to the swim platform interference, these were some of the only ones that fit on my boat. I ended up cutting up the platform, which was a bit of a challenge, but the end result was fantastic. It's simple to set up and use, and it does exactly what it says it will. I'd just like to point out that the reaction time is extremely fast. A noticeable response can be obtained by simply bumping the switch. I used a basic switch with no position feedback as well. Although the system is much simpler, a visual position indicator would have been a welcome addition. Overall, these are well-made and do an excellent job. For picky captains (like me), this is a must-have!.
That's exactly what I was looking for! My Cape Horn now feels like a completely different vessel!.
My order was delivered quickly, but it was missing parts. I contacted them via Amazon, and they acknowledged the error and sent the missing items to me via FedEx. I'm very happy with them and will buy from them again in the future. br>br>I've done it before and it's a piece of cake. The connectors are excellent, and there is no guesswork involved. In comparison to the Bennett's I'm replacing, these tabs respond quickly. br>br>I wholeheartedly endorse these.
It's very simple to put together. It's a piece of cake to connect the wires. It's a cinch to use. a quick delivery.
It's perfect for my 16-foot radon system. I really enjoy being able to blanch my boat!.
manufacturing is excellent; Added to an older boat, and it now performs much better on the open sea.
