After researching Lenco styles and finding one that I liked, I wanted to replace what I had with like for like. I didn't need the blade sets as mine were fine, but the kit included them. In my boat, the blades were attached at an angle because of the angle of the mountings I had to remove the old ones before I could begin and my boat had the blades attached I used the old angle cushions since there was none included in the kit. Using the old bolts but replacing them with ones from West Marine was a breeze since my boat already had a wire tube for doing this. Then I installed the new switch which wasn't difficult as I already had a wire tube installed on the boat. took the better part of two days to complete this project, mostly because I had to remove the swim step to get to the activator. It was then necessary for another person to hold a wrench against the engine compartment bolt while I undid the transom bolt. TA DA, my work is done. It looks I took it out the next day and it came out beautifully. It has given me more speed and more control than I have had in a very long time. GREAT PRODUCT! These Lenco trim tabs have been a great solution. A boat with less spray (depending on the wind, you can never completely avoid this on most boats), is able to take waves smoother and reach the hole faster Simply put, well worth the price. There is no need for hydraulic tabs like Bennett's because these are not only easier but also cheaper to install. As far as the hydraulic tabs are concerned, they have many other benefits but staying focused on the topic at hand I find them to be a top-notch It is my opinion that you do not need the LED switch. You can tell where they are just by looking at them. The regular switch's automatic retract feature prevents damage to the tabs when you turn the key off, and that is the most important feature you need. This product is quite good. I highly recommend it.
They did an excellent job. Because the swim platform interferes with the installation of these, these were some of the only ones that would fit on my boat. My final product involved cutting up the platform, which was a little tricky, but it turned out great in the end. I am very pleased with this product. It is easy to use and works The only thing I would like to point out is that the reaction speed is VERY fast. It only takes a simple flick of the switch for the response to be notable. It's the basic switch with no position feedback for me as well. Visual position indications would have made it much easier, but it would have been nice to have them. As a whole, these are very well made and effectively do their jobs. It's perfect for captains (like me) who are fussy.

It's a pleasure to work with these connectors and there's little chance of error. The Bennett's I am replacing, which were slow to respond, are replaced by these tabs, which are fast. These work great with my boat, and they were very easy to install they were plug and play, and they react extremely quickly.
Sea conditions should be changed as soon as possible. My deep V hull is more stable since this has been accomplished.
