How does the kit work? Does the switch come with it?

There is no such thing as it.

Can you tell me the date when these actuators were manufactured. Is that ok?

If I wanted it to be a complete kit, what would I need in addition to the switch?

I've had these on my boat for the last 14 years and finally had to replace them after they froze It was not necessary for me to replace the blades themselves as my original blades were fine

They came with the kit since I knew I would want to replace my Lenco style. My boat had an angle for the mounting of the blades, which made it difficult to attach them directly to the mounting plates I had to remove the existing ones first this took a little time. I used the old angle cushions as there was no angle cushion in the kit. My bolts were too short so I had to use the old ones, but I obtained new ones from West Marine. In addition, I had to replace the switch which wasn't as difficult since my boat already had a wire tube in place for that purpose. In fact, it took a good part of two days. Mainly because I had to remove the swim step to get to one of the activators, which meant another person had to hold a wrench on the inside of the engine compartment while I removed the bolt from I just finished it up, TA DA! It looks great! The next day, I took it out and everything came out beautifully. It gave me more speed and better control than I've experienced in a while. GREAT PRODUCT! These Lenco trim tabs have greatly improved this situation. With less spray (depending on the wind, you can never avoid this entirely on most boats), waves are smoother, and the hole shot in shallow water is faster. Short version the price is well worth it. The installation of these is far simpler and more affordable than hydraulic tabs like the Bennett brackets. There are other perceived benefits associated with hydraulic tabs, but sticking to the product at hand, I can say they are a great option.

I honestly do not see the need for an LED switch. You can tell exactly where they are just by looking at the surroundings. Additionally, with the regular switch, the tabs retract automatically when you turn off the key and that is the key feature you need to consider to prevent damage. In my opinion, this is an excellent.

They did an excellent job. Due to the way my swim platform interferes with some of the fenders, these were some of the only fenders that would fit on my boat. It was pretty tricky to cut up through the platform, but I think it came out great in the end. It is very easy to hook up and works like it should. Only one thing I would like to point out is that the reaction time is extremely You only need to flip a switch for results to start showing up. The switch I bought had no position feedback as well, so I went with the basic switch. It would have been nice to have a visual position indicator, which would have been less complex. The handles are of good quality and do the job For those fussy captains (like myself!) I highly recommend this!.

I waited to give this review until they followed up since they were extremely prompt. Despite my fast shipping, my purchase did not arrive complete. They acknowledged the error, sent the missing items via federal express, and promised to forward them to me as soon as possible. This is my second purchase from them and I am very pleased with my purchase. These have been in my hands before and I have always found them easy to install. With these connectors, you'll never have to guess how something will work. As opposed to Bennett's tabs, which I will replace, these are quick to respond. This is a book I highly recommend.
