An antenna base made of stainless steel appears to be more rigid than one made of plastic

My first impression is that the part was promptly shipped and arrived before I expected it would. In the past, I had used a similar mount made of some sort of plastic on a boat I owned. Despite the fact that it looked great because it matched both the antenna and the boat, the plastic ratchet did not secure, so this time I purchased a stainless, rigid style that hopefully will not shift as easily. It is a pleasure to look at the stainless steel base.

Despite the small size, the teeth seem to hold in It was cheaper than the shakesphere by about half. There is a good finish, and there are no problems with the hardware.

It is possible to place either the bow or the stern of this product in the wrong place due to its alignment. Port or starboard are easily aligned, but the teeth of the segment for adjusting alignment are not very wide, so they could easily slip.
