I use this car audio receiver with my Fusion head unit and have been impressed with the sound quality. After adjusting the sound levels, the volume seems to be quite loud without distortion after I dial it The four main components are the bass, the treble, the midrange, and the.
You can run this on a Boat with two amps, that way, you don't have to power an amp where no one is sitting, so the boat is set up in a way that lets you run two zones, interior and exterior. Power for the 1 or both amps is run via a remote wire that can be split at the head and switched on/off to power the amp. It worked perfectly with older amplifiers. With the help of JBL text support, I discovered that the amp detects even the slightest millamps of power via the speaker inputs when the head unit is on and overrides the remote power switch I have turned off once the volume on the head reaches about 20%. About 20 percent. To summarize, it is a good amp but it is way over-engineered for what I require. It should be described in the tech specs so you don't have to worry about chasing ghosts on installations. I replaced my speaker with a new one with separate volume zones, so I'm just handling it by turning the volume on the zone we don't want to hear down to Unfortunately, you have to turn off the power to the stereo at the control panel when you get home for the amp to turn off when not in use.
After I called to get this corrected I actually got an Infinity amp instead of a JBL. Great job answering my questions about the amp and accessories and even going into the details of the amp. Thanks so much.
