Questions & Answers

What is the length of the remote's cord? Thanks! ?

The cord is ten feet long. The remote control head is five feet long.

Do the line out jacks work if I'm using Bluetooth? I'd like to use this as my main amp, but use the line out jacks to run a bazooka amplified tube?

Yes, I'm using this amplifier for the same thing I'm doing on my system. It is an outstanding amplifier. It's on my jet ski, and even at 65 mph with wind noise, I can hear my speakers.

Since I'm not using a head unit with this amp, how (where) do I connect the blue wire?

A power source should be connected to the blue wire. The ignition switch should, ideally, be used to control the power source. If the amp is left on, this will prevent the battery from being drained. The blue wire can also be connected to the same power supply as the main power lead. In this case, an on/off switch (on the blue wire) should be used to turn off the unit.

Is it possible to use a 5-prong toggle switch with this? Even if the vehicle is turned off, I'd like it to turn on. ?

I'm not sure about a five-prong toggle switch, but you could certainly use a five-prong toggle switch. a pin Bosche Relay (with an 87a terminal) Wiring diagrams for them are readily available on the internet, but they are essentially pin-based. 30 to the amp's positive input, pin 87a to the vehicle's accessory positive, pins 85 and 87 to the vehicle's constant positive, and pin 86 to the vehicle ground with a standard toggle switch inline The circuit runs from pin 30 to pin 87a when the switch is turned off. The circuit runs from pin 30 to pin 87 when the switch is flipped on.

Great for confined spaces, this amp is fantastic
5/5

This amplifier was purchased to be installed beneath the passenger seat of my 1955 Pontiac Chieftain. I didn't want to put anything in the trunk or cut a hole in the dashboard for a head unit. Also, as you might expect, old vehicles have limited interior audio space. br>br>I used four Infinity Kappa 6 with this. Speakers are 5" and have a power output of 150 watts. br>br>First and foremost, this device is fantastic for those with limited space. It can be mounted almost anywhere due to its small size. The Bluetooth connectivity, on the other hand, is excellent. My phone connects to it as soon as I start the car, and I haven't had a dropped connection in over a year (I use Amazon Prime Music). The initial pairing with your smartphone (I have an iPhone 8) is also flawless. Because you are relying on your mobile device to send the audio signal to the amplifier, there is no need to wire a head unit to the system. br>br>A wired remote is included for pairing, volume control, and song skipping. It's simple to use and intuitive, and it comes with a housing that can be used to mount it if desired. I just drilled a hole in the back of my glove compartment and stuffed it in. The amp powers the four Infinity speakers very well, providing excellent power for great mid and high range sound. br>br>The remote isn't necessary because you can control all of the functionality from your mobile device. br>br> Obviously, this isn't a mono amp for driving a sub, so it won't deliver a lot of power for deep bass. br>br>I can't express how pleased I am with the performance, size, functionality, and value of this amplifier. I would strongly recommend it, and I intend to buy another one for a different vehicle.

For Motorcycles, This Is A Great Amp! On my Road King Classic, I put this in place
5/5

after you've finished wiring it and connecting the speakers - This is a fantastic device. Both in town and on the highway, the sound is fantastic. The only problem is that The Amps aren't to blame - is the location in my classic's saddlebag. I scoured the internet for the ideal setup. This amplifier is paired with a Kicker 40PSM34 100" 3" Weather-resistant speaker. The combination of the Proof Enclosed Mini 4 ohm Speaker System and the Satechi Bluetooth Button Series (Media Button) makes for an excellent setup - speaker with a low profile - The amp BT controller does not need to be connected to the handlebars. Connect your iPhone to the Amp BT control via Bluetooth. the media button should be paired with - Now you've got wireless sound that's controlled by a non-technical person. handlebar controller that is both intrusive and annoying. The next thing I'll do is hardwire the iPhone to the amplifier - If we need to switch music, I'll let my passenger connect to the Amp BT. This configuration will not let you down! Only suggestions are accepted. Given the fact that this is a marine amplifier - Kenwood offers waterproof Deutsch type connectors and harnesses as an option.

Bluetooth should have been included in car stereo amplifiers a long time ago! I bought this amplifier the moment I realized it had Bluetooth built in
5/5

Since smart phones have become so powerful, I don't see the point of having a head unit. Not to mention the unwelcome attention that a head unit can attract. br>As with any aftermarket amplifier, installation is standard, and the unit's small size allows for a variety of mounting and concealment options. br>The sound and power output are sufficient for the unit's rating. When using only the Bluetooth signal, the sound is flat, but this was easily fixed by downloading an EQ app for my phone. This is only true when using the Bluetooth signal alone, as sound processing is usually handled by the head unit. If you don't use a head unit to signal the amp, it's a small price to pay. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase and would recommend this amplifier to others. It does exactly what it says!.

WOWZA!   This amplifier was installed on a 2008 Harley Davidson Road King
5/5

I had a boss MC 470B with 4x3 inch speakers before this. There are two on the crash bar and two on the handlebar. That system works fine, but at high speeds (over 70 mph), even with the shield in place, I can't hear the music clearly. Because of the wind blowing around the motorcycle, it becomes muffled and distorted. I paired this amp with a pair of Kenwood KFC6996PS 5 way speakers for my saddlebags after conducting extensive research, and I kept two of the Boss's 3 inch speakers. There's no need to be concerned about the speakers blowing up because they can handle the amp's full wattage. The system outperforms my expectations in every way. Even at maximum volume, it is loud, crisp, and bright. Because of the five-way speakers, my classic rock has a thump to it. I have it turned up at around 80% power and… I tell you what… I have it turned up at around 80% power and I tell you what… I tell% That teeny-tiny bugger is a riot! At speeds of 70 mph and higher, I will have no trouble listening to my music. I'll have to connect this amp to a switch at some point in the future so I can turn it on and off without draining my battery. It's fairly simple to set up; simply follow the instructions. You can do it if you know how to cut and splice wires and use common sense. My current major issue is concealing all of the cables. This amplifier is a steal for under $300, and I highly recommend it!.

Purchasing one is not advised
5/5

BUY TWO. OMGbr>I put this on my street glide 4 6 and it's amazing. 5s! The sound is crystal clear! The sound will take your breath away. It's well worth the money. It's not required that you connect it to your radio, but it's an option. It's very simple to set up! It took me about 2 hours to mount and wire speakers to my bike! br>I'm going to order another so I can put four more speakers in my bags! I've tried a lot of amps and this one is by far the most user-friendly. 90% of the amps I had sound better than this! In a month, I'll update my post to see how well it's held up! br>br>The only drawback to this amp is that I can't control the output power! The stage has been set! The right and left channels are the only ones you have control over. It's not a bad thing, but knowing it's turned all the way up is helpful.

This was used in my Harley RWD TXR fairing
5/5

This is an incredible amplifier. Extremely simple to connect, with a killer RMS output and a very nice remote. It's a one-stop shop for all your needs. On the 12v main power, I would still recommend installing a fuse. Although the amp is fused, having an inline power fuse is always a good idea. If you have a couple of speakers, I would recommend this amp over others. This, combined with some Kicker speakers, allows me to hear my two 6-inch speakers. At 80 mph, five speakers are audible. It's a Kenwood amplifier, by the way. Kenwood is known for making excellent products.
