Mary, Klipsch has a sale on the wireless right now, so it is cheaper than the wired one. In the past, I took advantage of this opportunity and it was a great experience. The soundbar that I have it connected to is fantastic. It is perfect for those who want a lot of bass for a low price without compromising on quality. As part of my home theater system, I purchased this product. I found out that my subwoofer amplifier failed after a year and 4 months. Klipsch did not replace my subwoofer because AvSound is not an authorized dealer, so I had to contact them to confirm the problem. It was recommended that I make sure the Amazon seller was an authorized dealer BEFORE I made a purchase. I bought a Square Trade warranty, which saved me from having to return it. It is unclear which seller paid for the repair part. Questions and cautions are raised about Amazon's Sellers, the manufacturer, and the manufacter. A connector for the Bluetooth receiver fell off, so that was my only issue. There are several poor welds and the unit will probably short circuit when it comes in contact with them.
