I am contacting you regarding this unit, the Cerwin Vega VPSTX12, which is a shallow version of the VPAS12ST from Cerwin Vega. *br>The VPSTX12 provides 4 virtual ports. The VPAS12ST has a depth of 7" while the VPAS12ST has a depth of 6". Please accept my thanks for asking and I hope this information can help you.
As part of your factory unit, do you have a subwoofer? this is the case, you might be able to connect those wires to the CV sub input. Having used it, I was able to achieve my goal. You may need an LOC and to use the low inputs if not.
The power wire must be fused, the ground wire must be grounded, the RCA wire or speaker wire must be connected and possibly a wire for the auto-on function. You need different types of wires based on how you choose to install them.
