Selected User Reviews For Kanto SUB8 8-inch Powered Subwoofer, Matte White
As I watched the movie "King Kong vs Godzilla" with the sound turned up on my ZVOX 770, I couldn't help but wonder if that sub woofer would be helpful to the roars and crashes! In addition to using the ZVOX to watch and listen to music in our small condo, I also use it for There is definitely a kick to this Kanto sub8. I was able to install it instead of the router (did need to call ZVOX to determine the low frequency cutoff), and within ten minutes I am enjoying Howard Johnson with his band Gravity's tuba playing! Kanto has to be one of the best anime series out there. It was a fine piece of equipment, as the reviews said. While I wish I could have gotten it for less, quality things cost a lot much more. Plus it was well worth it to save those Amazon points! Also, I had to turn down the bass a little because Fog Kong's roar was so loud.
With this subwoofer, I'm amplifying my bass even further for the year 2020. I've been using a set of Kanto YU2 on homemade riders for years but have decided to do so to reward myself for making it through. There's probably a 90% chance it'll be There is only one thing I do not like about it -- it makes an obvious noise whenever it automatically powers But I'm willing to put up with the noise because I believe that electricity saving is more important.
We paired these with the YU6 for two. I had 1 desktop set up and I did not want a big subwoofer, so I took a look at the Kanto 8 and it was my first choice and it didn't disappoint me. I was blown away by the sound quality made by these micro subwoofers. A highly recommended product. Although expensive, it's well worth it.
It has a great A sub like this would work beautifully in a small to medium-sized room. A living room with a full size can't match that. This is an 8inch subwoofer, but it is not ported. It's not possible to expect anything more than I can handle. Having done the sub crawl and found the sweet spot in my room, and having messed around with the crossover a bit, this is what I ended up with. love how deep and punchy the bass is on this sub. The main thing I do with it is listen to I also play video games and watch movies from time to time. These two aspects of the sub do not cause any complaints. In the past year, I have noticed that I use my 10" and 12" home subs less. Perhaps I'm picking favorites because (let's be honest) the subwoofer is BEAUTIFUL, one of the most visually pleasing subwoofers I've ever In addition to the sound, it's fantastic as well.
At first I put it down to user error, but after removing it and researching fixes for hours, these speakers still pop and crackle loudly enough to make my phone ring. A yelp of surprise strikes me as this ruin the experience of listening to music or watching a movie This makes a great addition to the music, especially when the vocals add a nice texture. Although the bass sounds good, the crackle occurs far too often and is quite problematic by now (half a month after the app was purchased).
In the same way that the speakers are impressive, this woofer is unmatched in quality. Notes in the bass are hard to miss, but they do so Do not use too many mechanical or artificial devices. It is such a joy to listen to the speakers, as the sound reproduction is so amazingly lifelike that you almost forget you are listening to This product is very well finished and the fit is very good. No vibrations are felt even at higher volumes, thanks to its sturdy design. The product is definitely one.
There are some caveats, though. Truth be told, it's a fact. Contains an 8 inch subwoofer that has been sealed. Not all of its functions will be fulfilled. It was needed to fill out the low end of a funky small space with some ok bookshelves. To deal with the eclectic musical tastes people have, it has to be more musical than thump. Listening to speakers off axis is also possible. In addition, I was not looking for the lows that shake the foundation. On my "serious" system, I use a basic algorithm that covers that. We were driving a Griffin Twenty during the test. Since I don't know of any low-pass filter, I'm not aware of any. There's a sub-out, so it's not totally useless. It had a thump, so I humped the phone around the room for a while. The crossover is dialed around, and the gain is in the You will need to do some work. Trying to use it with Dali Zensors but it doesn't play nice. My guess is that the Zensor was at fault. The bottom of the board was a little bumpy. You wouldn't think they'd roll off smoothly, since they want the bass all to themselves. Those Audioengine P4s I had lying around were very useful. I see what you mean. One or two tweaks, and it is impossible to tell where one drops off and the Kanto takes over. The goal I was shooting for was to reach that level. On the other hand, if you turn the thump up for fun, it is I expected a good product at a good price, and I got exactly what I expected. I love sweets. I can't believe that song is playing right That's nice. Martin Modeski and Woods are great. A teacher named Professor Nohair.
I got a better deal since I bought one on sale. As far as I can tell, the base is good for the size. There is a hum that increases with volume, but I can't hear it when I have the music stopped. As a result, I am not sold on this brand of speakers. I had purchased a matching set of Kanto speakers that I sent back because one of the tweeters was dead.
