Although not the best, the “bests” out there are just too costly for me. This fits the bill. Subwoofers of this quality are very rare in this price range. You MUST properly calibrate it if you wish to use For pretty much any sub, this is true, but for the Jamo S810 it is especially true. Currently, the crossover is set at the regular 12 hour position which is too loud, and it does get distorted at times. It is possible (and advisable) to experiment with the dials while carefully listening to the sound coming out in order to ensure it is pleasing to YOUR ears (each person will have personal preferences).
As far as price is concerned, it is based on individual circumstances. He would find it ridiculously cheap even if he were rich. This is the story from the very At first, I had ordered the smaller subwoofer with 8" drivers THE 22ND OF SEPTEMBER In the end, the model was placed on backorder very quickly, and until December 28th (Merry Christmas indeed! ), I didn't receive it. In the midst of losing my time with BB I searched for it BB charged more for the 8", so I found the 10" for less than what they were charging for the 8". Needless to say, the 10" works perfectly well for my specific application and makes my life so much easier!.
As for the subwoofer itself, I am very happy with it. It works great with the rest of the Jamo setup I have. I love the bass without it sounding overwhelming. It is only the grill cover which needs to be changed. It was a surprise to find the grill not attached to the base when it arrived. In each corner there are tiny pegs that hold it in place. Unlike the rest of Jamo speakers, these ones do not One of the pegs was missing, as it was broken off. When I contacted the seller, we were told to glue it back together. There are two problems I can't find the broken part to glue it back together, and I would need to ask the seller for a refund. This is customer service?
I asked for a replacement grill and I was told that they no longer offer it. A refund of five dollars was then offered. In light of this, I laughed at the time, as the whole thing was absurd. I never received that refund. So, be careful where you buy things from.
In terms of tuning, etc. I spent a lot of time on it. It is a very interesting sub. I can place it in my editing room or drone room with ease. I am so impressed by the sound that comes from this! It is only an 8 inch sub! It produces a smooth and deep sound. There is no way that could be true. Then this is what you need if you're looking for epic smooth clean bass. That thing is no joke!
