Questions & Answers

Can it produce a frequency lower than 20 hz? Thanks a lot! ?

An answer to your question is presented here. In this case, I have the SUB-type An upgraded version of the Viscount Legend Classic 1500 My Hammond B3 "clonewheel" instrument has a low frequency of 32 Hz and has a TC Electronic Sub 'N' Up Mini Octaver effect pedal in line, which means that the organ foot pedal has a low frequency of 32 Hz. A pedal can go as low as 16 Hz (in principle). Having the system in a large room (36 feet long) is a good idea. I have found what I have been looking for 1) While taking full advantage of wall placement, etc., the bass is solid down to about 20 Hz, but then it rapidly drops off below that point. 1) It rattles the windows as well as anything else it can excite (like my wife), and I have yet to clip an amplifier (my Leslie 122XB speaker is another There is no better bargain than this at this price point! You can also build the Dayton Audio 18" Ultimax Subwoofer with SPA1200DSP Amplifier and Cabinet Package if you want more!

Can you think of a good use for one of these for a bedroom 13x11? Do you think you'd be better off with a smaller one, like 10 or 12 inches?

It would make sense for me to go with the same model in 10 or 12 inches. A large product like this will make the room look larger than normal. If the room is larger, it works better. It will sound fine in a room of that size with a 10 or 12.

The Sony 7 I have was purchased last year. (strdh770) Home theater 4k AV receiver with 2 channels. What is the best way to connect the two Is the signal carried by two mono cables or by two Y ?

The subs I had connected to my STR looked like this Each sub channel can be fed with a single channel, and then it can be fed with a y-axis For your information I agree that two subs is a bit much, but let the thunder roar!

Do you think this would be good for music, with a hard kick, not a How well does this sound with bookshelf speakers crossed at 80 Hz? Thanks a lot! ?

Personal opinion, but I believe movies do better than books. If you're going to listen to music, a smaller 10-inch monitor would be a good choice With 12 inches of woofer, you can get a

15" sub is the winner
3/5

This is what I have been waiting for a few weeks now a To get broken into, you need 1500. Fortunately, it didn't take me too long. Anyway, I own three of their sub-albums There's 1,000 10" powered subs in my garage/studio/mancave. It just didn't have enough power and sounded too loud. If I try to operate at the lowest frequencies, it actually sounds "upset. ". There's a good amount of punch in the sub, but it's not huffy (thank heavens). The 15" SUB was the best choice for me Moses was a holy man. I'm in awe of what you did! I'm up in the air! Having a louder, lower, and stronger sound is not the only benefit. The personality of the software is "I got this. ". There is no need to It reproduces low frequencies without any effort, so the sound of the 15" is clean. It is impossible to leave any note unattended. There is a rumble at the bottom of the earth. It is similar to going from a 1/2-ton to a 3/4-ton truck from a 10" to a 15". So far, I have not had it up full power (yet), but you can rattle everything in the garage with it. This is not the top of the line 15" sub, but it offers some incredible value. Upgraded to the latest version and am very satisfied. My main A/V system utilizes the "spare" 10" sub in my living room (now with dual Dayton Audio powered subs of the same height). Although it doesn't sound bad with dual 10" subs, With the 15", you can go lower and sound so much better. I have updated There was an audible popping and clicking coming from the speaker. I connected it to a different amplifier after I removed it. Sure enough, the bomb went off. I replaced the 15" subwoofer with a new plate amp, and then the plate amp started smoking. It didn't blow the new 15" woofer, which was a relief. As a result, an external amplifier was added to the "passive" system. While I was in there, I installed some sound deadening materials inside the box. I feel a lot better now. The overall impression of this SUB Death took place within a short period of time for 1500. It was not all over, however. A solid enclosure has been built for the cabinet. A superb tune has been applied. There is nothing better than the 15-inch subwoofer mounted in the cabinet with its improved performance. The amount you need to add is about six These bottom firing boxes need at least 8 inches of height to produce a serious bass response. Now that I have some of those $5 plastic bed risers from Walmart, the bass is much better and much airier. Basically, I spent about $200 modifiying this Dayton Audio sub-woofer It had been just over a year since the speaker and amplifier failed. Yet, what I have now is a thousand times better than what I got back then. When these powered subwoofer boxes fail, they probably want you to buy their crappy replacement plate amps and buy raw speakers to replace these crappy replacement plates.

I give it 5 stars, with a few In the same way that others have mentioned, if you think you are going to get a massive bass shaker here, you probably shouldn't bother
5/5

After clearing that up, it is well worth the 200$ for filling in the lower end, and you simply can't beat the price point for the quality of the product. My experience was similar to others', in that I had to do some DIY to get it set up the way I wanted it. I also had to tighten up screws once it had been installed (it was clacking and popping when I first With a 6$ set of plastic bed risers I was able to easily correct the porting issue at the bottom of the bed, which also disabled the last unwanted noise I experienced when the feet hit the tile. Other users have complained about problems with auto switching. I have not experienced any issues with the auto switch. It's not going to be better than this for what it is. As for the warranty, it's not bad either. They offer a 5 year warranty. To set it the way I wanted, I fussed a bit with the crossover and level, but I am very happy with the results. I would buy this product In the case that you're looking for a subwoofer that shakes walls and achieves audiophile status, you're looking at the wrong subwoofer. A 15-inch speaker is perfect for adding presence to your setup, and 150 watts are just enough to feel the bass without making your guts shake and your eyes twitching.

It has been 2 years since then

My neighbor's house is still shaken to this day. This sub has been in my possession for two years now, and I cannot rave about it enough. My husband and I were looking for an impressive big boom for our living room, and oh my good goodness, does this thing exceed expectations! I tested this sub in an open living room approximately 40x55ft and it shakes literally everything in the room. In addition, I tested it on the sales floor at work, which is approximately 1500x1500 feet. There was still a shaking of the front windows and lights, but it was clearly not intended for such a large amount of It is a totally different experience to hear bass through the sub. The Transformers movies make it seem like they're in our living room when we watch them. I'd say the clarity is a little on the dull side. I am, however, happy with the price I paid for this product. There's just mud, so I'm fine with that. Earth-shaking in every sense of the word.
