Whoa, the plus isn't equipped with wheels; take note: the person who is carrying it according to the description I own the original tailgater, which is built with reinforced corners and is very sturdy. However, because of how solid it is, it is heavy (at least for me, as I am small), but the sound quality, in my opinion, cannot be beaten. I've always wished it had a built-in trolley because I bring music to nursing homes. The plus model's construction appears to be more delicate, and it weighs in at 11 pounds, compared to 17 pounds for the older model. Two Ions raptor or path finder models would need to be upgraded for the wheels. I hope this information is useful.
The only other one I've used was not the 100 watt power. I believe it is superior, and I employ it on a regular basis.

My first one was about ten years long. We'd had a lot of fun with it for years and decided it was time for a change. I'd like to mention that I had to contact ION customer service about my first Block Rocker, and they were fantastic in assisting me in becoming a repeat customer. This Block Rocker Plus was just delivered to me today. My IPhone and Blue Tooth were easily connected. It was almost fully charged when I got it out of the box. I gave it a try in the house for a few hours and it's fantastic! We'll use it around our fire pit outside, in the garage, and at parties. The audio quality is excellent. I didn't turn it up past 1/4 power, but at 100 watts, I'm sure it'll rip! The radio works well indoors without an antenna. When I set it up outside, I expect it to perform even better. Once again, ION has outdone my expectations.
Although I'm not a YouTuber, I've seen videos that show speakers trying to blow a subwoofer out and have decided to get this one since it has a bass boost button to get us interested in watching it play music.
This block rocker is also a kickass kickass kickass kickass kickas This was the first time we used it at my daughter's wedding rehearsal dinner. It was the party's biggest hit. We didn't just use the included microphone; we played music nonstop all night. This is something I would recommend for any occasion. I'm looking forward to having a karaoke party.
Many of the Ion products have been tested by me. The Boom and Bass on the Block Rocker Plus are quite impressive. I'm not a huge fan of the bass, but if you're looking to throw a party, this is a great option because it packs a punch, especially when used with Bluetooth. After fully charging the product multiple times, the battery died within 24 hours and I had to return it. Another reason for the review's lack of stars was the FM radio reception, which was supposed to be 50 hours long. It's a nightmare. I live in the heart of the city and have been unable to receive any clear stations. Because I work outside, I don't have to deal with the distractions that come with working inside. Ion should reinstall an external antenna on the outside of their devices. I bought a new battery for my old block rocker to replace the old one, which had died after about two years of service.
The sound quality is excellent, and the volume is sufficient for a party. I can hear it from a block away. It's a big speaker, but it's not too cumbersome to move around. On wheels, it's a pleasure to ride. I measured the top volume at 73 decibels, but I didn't include the bass boost. Bluetooth is simple to use and connects over a long distance. I also used an EcoXGear speaker that was similar to this one. That one is a little heavier to load into the car, but it's tougher. It reached a peak of 83 decibels. I didn't have a microphone, but I was willing to borrow one. Ion has a microphone built in. The sound quality of the two speakers is about the same. Depending on your needs, I suggest either.
"50 hours!!" it says. Granted, I doubted it would be anywhere near that, but I figured two half-days at work would suffice. So it's dead after less than three hours per day for two days. I'll give the 50 watt a shot (because the sound was good enough), and the AM radio didn't work for listening to my favorite football talk show. It looks great and is a great speaker, so it's a real shame. Unless you plan on leaving it plugged in all the time and don't need AM radio, I can't recommend it. Then it'd be a four-star rating! So I'm going to try the Tailgator originalbr>for the antenna, and I'm hoping the sound is as good as it sounds and the battery lasts as long as it says it will! br>I intend to purchase the tailgator's NEW older model.
This was purchased for work use. I don't need this speaker because I have a lot of them. br>br>I work as a cleaner at a school and wanted a loud one to leave at work. I have others who are quite noisy, and I don't want to abandon them. br>br>I charge it once every three days and use it for about six hours every night. This is connected to an iPod, which I use to listen to Amazon music. I've set it to a high volume so that most of us can hear it. We communicate using radios, and every now and then I miss a call due to the loud music. br>br>I enjoy playing rock music from the 1960s and 1970s. I'll buy it again if it ever falls down the stairs and breaks. I consider this to be ours at work, rather than just mine, because I share what I have and some people want to purchase one. br>br>I like that it has wheels and a telescoping handle, which makes it easy to move around. This is usually on my cleaning cart (which is an old metal object that I converted into a cleaning cart).
This is a newer model of the block rocker that has simple features and sounds great. The Bluetooth connection is simple, and the microphone is plug-and-play with an on/off switch for easy operation. The sound quality is excellent, even at high volumes where it does not distort, and it is extremely loud! I've never turned up the volume past half-way, and it's plenty loud enough for me. You get a lot of bang for your buck with this purchase.
