Customers have expressed dissatisfaction with the way the Sonos 1 simply sits there. I see a bracket with a hole in it that could hold the speaker in place. true? Do you have a screw on hand?

Hello, br>While the Sonos One will sit on top, the Sonos Play 1 and Play 3 will require the use of a speaker bracket. In any case, because it is UL listed and has been tested to withstand up to 10 degrees of tilt, you can rest assured that your speakers will be safe! br>br>Kathryn @SANUS

What is the distance between the wall and the stand when the stand is placed on the back wall?

In response to your question, I measured the distance between the lower part of the stand upright and the wall by placing the base of the stand against the quarter round trim on the floor. 5 inches. The distance will be slightly longer if the measurement is made higher on the stand.

I RECEIVED EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR
5/5

I purchased the Sanus WSSA2- model. B1 is where I keep my Sonos three-speaker system. To begin with, some reviews claim that they are expensive, that the speaker is not secured to the stand, and that they either do not come with tools or are difficult to assemble. The only tool I used to assemble these stands was a phillips screw driver; it wasn't difficult to figure out what went where, and my play speakers are securely fastened to the stand with an included mounting screw. I like that the cord is hidden in the upright post, and that the base is concave so that you can tuck extra cord under it. The adjusibility range is ideal for any application; mine are as high as they go, and my play 3 speakers, which are larger and heavier, are well supported. Because my stands are on hard wood floors, I used the rubber inserts instead of the carpet spikes (both base feet are included). I looked for a long time for stands that I liked, and these are the ones I found.

Rubber feet should be kept at a constant temperature
5/5

I put together one stand right away after receiving it, and everything went smoothly except for the rubber feet. They would not, under any circumstances, thread all the way through. I was afraid that if I used any more force, I'd twist them off. The other one would have to wait until the next morning to be assembled. It was a breeze to put together, even the rubber feet were threaded in perfectly. I re-examined the situation because it seemed odd. When I tried the first one, the feet threaded all the way in with ease. The only difference was in the temperature. The package was left out in the hot Texas sun for several hours on a 90-degree day, while our house temperature was 68 degrees overnight. So, if you're going to use the rubber feet, make sure everything is cool before you thread them in.

Definitely a good investment! These new Sanus stands are fantastic, and they're the ideal complement to your Sonos speakers
5/5

I'm currently using them for my rear surrounds, replacing my old Sanus stands, and the ability to adjust the height with these new ones can't be overstated. Because my surround sound setup isn't ideal because my couch is against the back wall, I can now raise them above our listening level and direct them towards us without blasting people on the ends of the couch. I redid the true play tuning after I set them up, and let me just say wow! The sense of space and sound envelopment are fantastic! If you're on the fence about buying these, trust me when I say they're well worth your money.

For Sonos One speakers, this is a fantastic option
5/5

I needed a way to mount a rear surround speaker at the end of my sofa. I needed something small to put the speaker in because it was next to a high-traffic area. These are ideal for filling that void. These stands are strong and well-made. constructed and the set-up It's very simple to set up. The instructions are clear and concise, and the packaging is well-labeled. I read a few reviews that claimed the speaker was not well anchored to the stand, but I don't see how the speaker could come off unless you plan on kicking the stand. The Sonos One SL is slid into a groove that nicely anchors it. The cable management system is in good working order. It's well-designed and performs admirably. Five out of five stars!.

Adjustable Speaker Stands with Sturdiness
5/5

These replace a previous set of stands for my Sonos Speakers that I purchased about a year ago. They were too short to fit behind the couch, so they sat off to the side, which was not an attractive or safe setup, and they had a sympathetic reverberation at certain frequencies and volume levels. br>br>I bought a wall mount for a Sonos speaker from Sanus for my Sonos One in the Spa Room, and it looked great and worked perfectly. br>br>So I went online to look for their other speaker stands and found these. They're perfect; they adjust to position the speaker behind and above the back of the couch, and the stand allows the couch to slide back against the wall (though not completely against it). They conceal the wires, are extremely sturdy, well-attached, and secure perches for my speakers, and. . . There is no sympathetic reverberation at certain frequencies and volume levels, unlike the old stands. br>br>I'm very happy with it; I have another Sonos system set up on the TV in the Family Room, and I'll be using these or the Sanus wall mounts there as well. Don't waste your money on the cheaper stands; you'll be more than satisfied, and your expensive speakers will be protected by a very sturdy speaker stand.

I paid a premium for these speaker stands and am disappointed with the results
3/5

The box arrived taped up as if it were a return, open box that had been re-boxed with loose screws inside. Then there was a nick on one of the bases. It's not easy to make adjustments. Pulling up or down without breaking something is extremely difficult. I suppose it's fine if you never want to adjust or move it once it's set up. All I have to do now is hide the scratches and hope it wasn't a used item. It certainly appeared to be the case.

Vibrates too much for the Sonos One SL speakers, which led me to believe it was a defective speaker
3/5

That was not the case. Don't be alarmed if the speakers don't have any screws to secure them; they're safe. The only issue I have with it, and it's a big one, is that it vibrates excessively, making the speakers sound defective; I called Sonos for a replacement speaker, which did the same thing. It turns out it's this stand; I have hardwood floors, so carpet may not be an issue. Don't bother with this stand if you have hardwood floors because it messes up the sound of the speakers, making them sound like they're peaking and having bad reverb at times.

Before putting together the stands, read through the instruction pamphlet from cover to cover
5/5

The SONOS Play 1 speakers were mounted on the stands. All of the adapters needed to securely mount three different SONOS speakers are included in the package. The stands are well-made and simple to put together. It is possible to adjust the height without using the tool, but it is easier to do so with it. However, I would recommend reading the instruction manual thoroughly before beginning assembly to avoid having to disassemble and reassemble some parts. The stands are, on the whole, an excellent product.
