Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
FIT FOR SMALL DESKTOP SPEAKERS: The mount's base is 100mm x 165mm, and it can hold speakers with these dimensions or larger, such as the Audioengine A2, A1, and HD3.
THE DS1 DESKTOP SPEAKER STANDS ANGLE YOUR COMPUTER SPEAKERS UPWARDS, DIRECTING THEIR TWITTERERS DIRECTLY AT YOUR EARS. This allows you to hear the higher, more directional frequencies clearly.
DAMPS VIBRATION FOR A CLEARER SOUND: Because vibration degrades the clarity of a high-quality set of speakers, these stands are designed to drastically reduce vibration, resulting in a noticeably clearer sound and an ear-level listening experience.
INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE: Two Audioengine DS1 Speaker Stands, as well as a setup guide.
WARRANTY: Audioengine manufactures high-quality audio equipment that they back up with a warranty. A three-year transferable warranty is included with all Audioengine products. COVERAGE: Excellent customer service from the United States is included, as well as three years of product coverage. Since 2005, Audioengine, based in Austin, TX, has been changing people's perceptions of music. Our passion is to create products that sound great, are simple to use, and encourage people to listen to music on a daily basis.

Questions & Answers

When seated at my computer desk, can I use these "backwards" to angle the speakers downward from a shelf above my head level?

Yes, in theory. The only issue is that the lip that prevents them from sliding backwards could obstruct the bass port, which would muddle your sound. Although I have not tried it, it appears to be a viable option.

Is it compatible with the A2 sound system?

Yes, I have the A2 speakers, which are perfect for my needs. When compared to simply placing the speakers on a desktop surface, the sound quality with these stands was noticeably better.

Is this sold as a single speaker stand or as a set of two?

It comes in a set of two, and the angle is ideal for the Audio Engine A2.

Is it possible to use my Mackie monitors on this?

They'd probably work with any flat-bottom monitor with a screen size of 5" or less, but they're a little on the small side.

Don't hold your breath for anything spectacular
3/5

Although Audioengine produces excellent speakers, these small speaker stands are inexpensive. As you can see in the photos, they are hollow and made of thin plastic. They do their job, and if they were priced around $10, I would give them 5 stars, but because this product is so subpar, especially considering it comes from a reputable company, I only give it 2 stars. One star for doing what it's supposed to do, and another for not making me feel stupid for purchasing them.

A model with a gentler angle is required
3/5

Although this is a good product with a great idea, most people don't require such a sharp angle for aiming speakers up or down in the real world. A gentle angle down from the top of a bookshelf or up from a desk surface is all that is required. While having the option of two sizes is nice, having the option of a design with a minimal angle would be even better.

Don't scrimp on your speakers' quality by using different stands
5/5

I have to admit that I didn't care for the look of these black blobs, so I replaced them with beautiful stainless steel Kanto stands of roughly the same size, as something was missing in my HD3s. The highs were a little shrill, and the sound was thinner and slightly tinny. As a result, I purchased the black Audioengine stands to compare. What a significant difference there is between the two. There was an immediate improvement in sound quality, with better definition of each instrument in the recording and a larger soundstage. The HD3 speakers, paired with these stands, are everything I could want in a desktop speaker of audiophile quality. Because the stands have been so helpful to me, I'm even warming up to them. This firm has a lot of experience! Don't take the baby out of the bathwater it was supposed to be in.

It's a bit pricey, but it gets the job done
3/5

They're overpriced for what they're worth, but they get the job done. These stands simply helped angle my older Emotiva ASM 3B speakers upwards because they already had a silicone base. Because sound from small desktop speakers can be very directional, the sound quality has significantly improved. br>Overall, a good purchase; however, I wish they were half the price!.

Isolation pads for the HD3 that are both reliable and affordable
5/5

Due to space constraints, I had to place my speakers on a shelf, so I'm actually using these pads backwards. Higher ranges were a little out of reach because of the shelf's height. These pads did a fantastic job of resolving the issue. In terms of isolation, they've also eliminated the slight rattle I used to get from the shelf when using thump-style output. music with a strong beat There is no discernible rattle on the pads, indicating that they function as intended, even when used backwards: )br>br>With the unusual orientation, I have not noticed any loss of fidelity. When set backwards, the pads don't cover the front port, and the cavity beneath the pad doesn't appear to add any color to the sounds that I've heard.

They are a perfect match for my Audio Engine A2
5/5

I really like how these stands enhance and complement my Audio Engine bookshelf speakers. It puts them in the ideal position to highlight the sound's direction. It's difficult to say if they improve the sound because my Audio Engine A2 speakers are so good. However, I've compared the sounds with and without the stands, and the sounds on the stands seem to be a little cleaner. Other factors, such as the type of desk you're sitting at and how close you are to the walls, obviously play a role, but I have no complaints. br>br>According to the description, the silicone material around the base of the stand appears to give way a little, so anything heavier than a pair of solid bookshelf speakers may be stretching it. However, where my speakers sit, the edges are solid enough to keep them in place. They're fantastic. br>br>.

Durable yet appealing-- They are efficient and effective
5/5

I have small desktop speakers for my computer that were constantly falling over, plus they needed to be elevated due to the angle in order for me to get the full stereo sound; The Audioengine DS1 Desktop Speaker Stands, on the other hand, caught my attention. These adorable puppies are a joy to behold. Exactly what I needed for my speakers! They're sturdy, and my speakers are tilted at just the right angle for a stereo effect, plus they don't fall over anymore. (The speaker stands have a 2. 25-inch cutout on the inside. ) 5"- something in the description that I don't recall reading- That would have been a huge help to me. These are stands that I would highly recommend.
