You can use three different optical inputs and choose which one is sent to the single optical output. The same selection is downconverted to both audio output jacks, e.g. RCA or 3. Stereo in 5 mm br>The puss button switch determines which "one" of the optical signals you want to pass through and convert to analog audio.
Unplugging isn't necessary. Mine is constantly in operation. Stop for a year and a half. You may do so, however, if your power source has power fluctuations.
To reduce the risk of product damage and ensure your safety, we recommend that you use the DC 5V 1A power plug that comes with our product rather than an AC power supply to power it. Please keep in mind that using the TV's USB port for power may result in noise, so we do not recommend it.
Yes, I experienced lag when connecting a gold-plated RCA output to an amplified speaker with a (extremely short speaker wire). My optical out to a center speaker was a half second behind the RCA output. This is extremely inconvenient and defeats the purpose of using a split double out device; it is not a problem with the TV's settings. The sound from the decoder must be sent out in a synchronized manner to the decoder's multiple outputs - Unfortunately, I haven't had that experience.

My parents like to use a combination of an external sound bar and TV ears with their television and peripheral devices (such as a satellite TV box), so I bought this product for them. The issue was that they needed to replace their satellite box, and the new box only had digital outputs, so they lost the analog outputs. Their TV receivers are analog, and digital receivers are prohibitively expensive, so what are they to do? br>br>We have optical audio coming out of their smart TV, so no matter what they're watching, all of the audio is on the same cable. It first goes into Input 1 of this splitter box (there are three optical inputs, and you choose one by pressing the Switch button - An LED illuminates next to the selected input, so you can tell which one it's using). Another optical cable goes to their sound bar, and the analog L/R goes to their TV ears, all from this box. br>br>Despite the fact that you can choose which input to use, it outputs sound to ALL connected devices, which is exactly what I wanted. They can now listen to audio on both the sound bar and their TV speakers at the same time, and turn off one of them if they don't want to hear it. br>br>The box connects to a standard power outlet and took less than 5 minutes to install and test. It comes with an optical cable, which was not mentioned in the description, so I bought an extra - As a result, I now have a back-up. br>br>One minor design flaw (that has had no effect on the product's functionality) is that when I pushed the optical cable into the box (on the output side), the interface sunk a little. Either I pressed too hard or the socket isn't securely fastened to the box. It had no effect on the sound or connectivity, so it could just be a small amount of solder that wasn't applied properly on the inside. I didn't deduct any points because I couldn't tell if it was a manufacturing or user error. caused. br>br>Excellent box that does exactly what I need at a reasonable price.
It appears to be of a high standard. I wanted to send audio from my Samsung TV's TOSLINK output to both my Yamaha soundbar (TOSLINK input) and my old stereo amplifier (RCA input), and this device worked great and looked/felt like a good quality device. That's exactly what it does. I turn off the hifi amp to hear the soundbar when I'm watching TV. I turn off the soundbar when I want to listen to music through my hifi speakers in another room. I have no need for the switch because the RCA and TOSLINK outputs appear to have no delay between them, so I can listen to both. I only have one TOSLINK source, so I don't need it, but it's nice to know it's there.
1 AC3 *and* Bluetooth Headphones without having to change the settings I previously purchased a Bluetooth transmitter to allow me to watch TV late at night without disturbing my family. The original plan was to use passthrough on the BT transmitter to allow for normal sound for normal viewing, and then I'd just put on my BT headphones for late night TV. br>br>The issue was that I discovered that most Bluetooth transmitters can only pass through PCM or stereo audio, even on SPDIF, and I wanted 5. 1 AC3 when using normal sound, without having to change the audio settings manually every time I switch back and forth. br>br>This switch/DAC gets the job done. On SPDIF, it sends full AC3 audio, while on the auxiliary analog output, it converts the AC3 to PCM stereo. The Aux connects to my BT transmitter, and voilà, everything is in working order. AC3 5 is what I get. For normal viewing, I simply turn off my home theater and put on my BT headphones; for quiet viewing, I simply turn off my home theater and put on my BT headphones. There aren't any alterations, and there isn't any commotion.
It was simple to put in place. br>br>All I had to do was connect the (included) optical audio cable from my television to the device, then connect the (not included) RCA analog audio (red and white) cable from the device to my stereo, and finally plug in the (included) power adapter. br>br>I wanted to record audio from my one-man band. year- to my 6-year-old UHD television year- antique - Analog turntable/CD player/Bluetooth receiver/radio receiver/cassette player in style br>br>This device accomplishes this. br>br>With this device connected, the volume on the television and the music center both work, so I can choose how much of each I want to use at the same time. br>br>My only complaint is that when I switch between tv inputs, there is a fast popping sound that is harsh and annoying, even though it only lasts a fraction of a second every time.
It was recommended to me by Customer Support at another company, J Tech Digital, after I inquired about a product they had that I thought would solve the problem. They couldn't come up with a solution, so they suggested a different company's product. WOW! I can now feed my 2014 Sony TV's sound bar AND plug in my headphones at the same time. 60 second setup and boom, it works perfectly. During my research, I found that a lot of people were in the same boat. I'm not sure why soundbars don't have a headset jack. The problem will be solved in a flash with this device! I'm very happy with this product and will look into J Tech Digital's solutions in the future because of their assistance and excellent customer service in resolving a major issue.
For headphones, I needed a stereo analog output. Unfortunately, new 4K HDTVs do not have this capability, but the ESYNIC device does. The combination of optical input/output and analog stereo output is the ideal solution. The Dolby 5 surround sound system is supported by this device. 1 Surround, plus a whole lot more. It was simple to connect, and the price was even better!.
Worked for two hours, then passed through Toslink, which started cutting out on the way to the Sony receiver. I bought it so that I could listen to music through headphones. There was no audio cable connection on the new Samsung LED 65". TEN STARSXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX I'm a huge fan of ESYNIC and can't recommend it highly enough. The company offered to replace it, but they were unable to do so due to a shortage! ESYNIC issued a refund and stated that if another shipment arrived, they would send one to me. br>TODAY I RECEIVED A FREE REPLACEMENT!br>br>I was able to split the toslink three ways with one of them going to this box by purchasing a toslink splitter. This box's AV functioned, so I didn't have to rely on the toslink output of this box. The new box appears to be functional. br>This company provides the best service ever!
