This isn't a "transmitter" in the traditional sense. I believe the question you're asking is whether it affects the output sound. "Yes," would be the answer then. I believe the question you're asking is whether it affects the output sound. "Yes," would be the answer then. " This unit converts the digital audio signal from the TV's digital output plug to a regular analog audio signal. Example: My earphones are connected to my phone via a small Bluetooth transmitter. It makes use of standard analog. I'm unable to connect it to the TV's speaker output jack because those jacks disable the speaker. As a result, I needed to plug it into a different audio output. A 192 KHz digital output jack was the TV's only other audio output. So I convert the digital TV audio to analog using a DAC (Digital to Analog Converter), and then I plug the Bluetooth transmitter into the DAC converter. The Base and Volume controls are used to adjust the audio level and the Bluetooth transmitter's base. I hope you found this information useful.
Hello there, this is a brand new digital-only publication. converter from analog to digital The fiber optic cable is 1 meter long. Thank you for your inquiry, and I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.
The voltage is 120 volts.
It appears to be under control of attenuation. Only 98% sure of that is true. I've got a powered sub hooked up to it. I'll say this: the converter's volume is not controlled by the TV's volume. At lower volumes, there is also a small delay. It's not enough to go all out and throw it out, but it's not noticeable at normal or loud volumes. For the time being, I'm using the TV for mids and highs and sending this to the powered sub - Until I'm able to complete the system for which it was designed.

These DAC optical out to analog in converters can be difficult to specify and buy, but I took a chance and am happy with it. I bought it because my new LG 24LM500S 24 inch smart TV was a great deal for the money, except for the audio speaker system, which is terrible. As if in hushed tones So I bought it to use with a Bose mini soundlink II. The TV is set to optical out ACM, which works fine for me. I like that it has volume and bass controls, which other units lack, as well as a short optical cable and a 5V, 1A power supply, which many other units require you to purchase separately. Because the accompanying literature expressly states that it does not work with NETFLIX, I took a chance. It does, however, work flawlessly with it, and I was pleasantly surprised by this. My spouse enjoys watching Amazon Prime and Netflix during dinner, and it works well for him. To assist others, I'm writing this quick review. It works with the specific equipment I'm using, but there are no guarantees that it will work with anything else.
I always look at the most recent reviews to see if the quality has deteriorated or if there has been a bad batch of the product. My advice is to start with the most negative reviews first. br>br>Anyway, I installed this today, March 22, 2021. I used a higher-quality TOSLINK cable and RCA audio cables that I had on hand. I used a StarTech power supply instead of the original. 1m USB to Type N Barrel 5V DC Power Cable from com - A to five USB ports 1 Meter USB to 5mm DC – 5mm DC Black 5mm DC Plug (USB2TYPEN1M) that fits and works perfectly with the plug (sold separately). br>br>For audio, I have my LG 75UH6550 set to PCM out. This was connected to a Bose Lifestyle 48 via existing wall connections in my A/V closet. The following is something I noticed: 1. br>br> To achieve the same base level as my previous setup, I had to turn the Base to maximum.
2. To achieve the same level as my previous setup, I had to turn the Volume up to about 3/4.
3. When the device is turned on, it makes a faint "tick" sound. When the LG is turned on, it only provides USB power.
4. The sound quality was exactly what I had hoped for. My previous setup was TOSLINK to CAT 5e 75 Ohm coaxial (through the wall to the closet while maintaining a digital signal), but I needed that connection for a new DIRECTV 4k Mini Genie (behind the LG). br>br>Given that I now have to convert from digital to analog audio, I'm happy with the results; the Bose Lifestyle 48 works well with that signal and provides normal surround sound. Not as good as what I had or could get if I upgraded my in-wall HDMI cable to 4k and returned the 4k Mini Genie to my A/V closet, but the cost difference is around $1500 in my case. I'll come back to that later. br>br>Why only four stars? It was only today that I got around to installing it. Keep an eye out for updates.
The build quality is outstanding, and the audio is crystal clear and free of cracks. simple to use For optical to analog audio conversion, this is a must-have. I've been using it for several hours and the unit, as well as the AC adapter, are both cool to the touch. I'm continuing to test the unit and will update this review if I notice anything unusual. However, for the time being, I'm satisfied with my purchase. The volume control for the audio is extremely useful!.
The knobs for volume and bass are also cool. That is all there is to it. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this method.
- When I touched it, it shocked me three (possibly four) times. The first shock I attributed to the fact that I was using a 3. To be honest, I'm not sure if adding a 5mm jack extender to the dac is a good idea; I'm just generously giving this dac the benefit of the doubt that perhaps something "I" did was the cause. Later, I took that out of the equation and was shocked twice more without it, using a standard setup.
- The bass isn't as strong as it could be. It's barely passable with the bass dial turned all the way up, but if the source you're connecting to is better, your bass will suffer.
- A similar situation exists for the maximum volume. br>br>My goal with this was to use studio monitors with my LG b7a oled tv (which doesn't have a headphone jack or l/r audio outs), and while it worked technically, it was a poor experience and, more importantly, potentially dangerous to my equipment. Now, I'm not particularly tech savvy when it comes to audio/video, and it's possible that my goal was doomed to fail from the start by simply choosing this cheap piece of equipment for this purpose, but I would have been content with the subpar audio experience if not for the intense static shocks (not your average every day static shocks, mind you, but ones that cause more than just a finger jolt). br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: I've updated my review and raised the rating a notch. After contacting the company, I was given a complete refund. I might have gotten a bad unit by chance, but the company made it right, and that's all that matters.
Instead of the other ones you were considering, spend a little more and get this one. I read the reviews of the other DACs for sale and decided that I'd rather avoid the issues that others had experienced. I began with an old Matricom G-series telephone. To view my multiple Wyze cams, I used Box Q (android box) and TinyCam Pro. When I pressed the x'ed button on my phone, I heard a beep. There was a strong wind blowing, as indicated by the speaker symbol on the camera display. So, instead of just video feeds, I decided to have sound on my 21-inch camera monitor. I used the G-1000's fiber optic output as a starting point. I put it in a box and ran it to the fiber input on the DAC. I used the headphone jack out on the DAC and connected a 3 foot 3. 5mm to 3. My PC has a 5mm extension to an input jack. My computer already has a small Altec-designed sound card installed. I didn't have to add any more speakers or plug-ins because I had a Lansing sound system with a sub woofer. ins. To turn off the power on the G-Box, I use a Kasa H103 smart plug. Since the Android box has been turned on, the box and the DAC have been working together. While I was using it on a regular basis, the off button never worked. When the monitor is turned off, it only draws about 600 mA.
