Yes - That's a good thing, because I can only use it when it's plugged in now. On battery power, it ceased to function - Exactly like the first one I purchased and had replaced. It's a little lame to have a boombox that isn't battery powered.

Yes. I immediately put this to the test. I made one on my computer and used the boombox to play it. I also used the boombox to copy a CD to a flashdrive, which I was able to play back on most devices (this works, but it's slow).

To begin, I'll share some good news. Given the low price, the sound quality is adequate; however, the small screen is not backlit, making it difficult to see (which isn't a big deal for me), and there is no remote control (which is also not a big deal for me). br>br>I'm dealing with two major issues. To begin with, there are only three radio pre-recordings available. despite the fact that the Amazon description claims that there are 20 FM and 10 AM pre-sets sets. I can live with only three, though I would prefer more, but the description's inaccuracy is extremely concerning. br>br>Another issue is the design flaw in the back panel piece that covers the battery compartment. I had some difficulty removing the panel, but I was able to do so and replace the batteries. When attempting to replace the panel, it became severely jammed, with the bottom firmly in place and the top protruding. Worse, I can't seem to get the panel on or off, so it's half-on, half-off. In retrospect, I should have put the bottom part in first instead of the top part, but it shouldn't have happened either way. br>br>As I previously stated, the sound on this is quite good for the price, but.
It was purchased in March 2018 and has since stopped playing CDs. It will start but not complete a CD. I've tried a few different ones and cleaned the ones we use, but it still doesn't work.
Purchased on December 6th, 2018 and received within a reasonable amount of time. Until yesterday, right before a small get-together, I used VERY little and all parts worked fairly well (not great sound output, though). I put a CD in and the display said NO CD when I got home. I tried various CDs, tried every little trick I could with buttons, the power, and even had others try, but the message remained the same: "NO CD. " This thing was a complete waste of money because I drove it down to Mexico and am unable to return it. Two thumbs down for this.
It's even better than I had hoped! The sound quality is excellent, and there is no need to use tinfoil to boost the antenna. (To get any station on the old radio this replaced, you had to use tinfoil. ) ) It's a hit with my father, and the fact that it's Bluetooth means I can connect it to my phone and listen to even more music! It also accepts CDs, so it can accommodate all of your musical requirements. Overall, I give it 5 stars because it is a great value, has excellent sound quality, and allows you to play your music collection in a variety of ways; I would highly recommend it.
DISAPPOINTED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT. As a shop radio, I purchased this. Our current radio, which is 25 years old and costs $15, is significantly louder. Our new tuner only received half as many channels as our old one.
I paid attention to what was said. This small stereo produces a lot of sound! My mother had complained that her current boom box didn't have good sound, so I purchased it for her. I sat and listened before nodding. This new one has made her very happy. My sisters and I all tried it out at her house, and we were all blown away by the sound that came out of such a small stereo. The massive bass is incredible!.
I spent a lot of time researching different radios because I didn't want something cheap like the ones I've had before that couldn't hold a station in place or had low volume and I couldn't afford a more expensive one. This is the one I chose and I'm so glad I did because it's everything I hoped it would be.
This CD player is absolutely fantastic. We wanted something that would be able to be left outside by the pool. At night, we cover it with a small blanket. Plays well, is simple to operate, has good sound quality, and the volume controls are located on the top of the player, making them visible and easy to use. Right now, we're listening to our Island Spa CD, which only adds to the pleasure of an evening swim. We strongly advise you to try it.
