This item arrived today without a power plug. Amazon gets a thumbs down.
Please accept my apologies for the delay in getting back to you. Both FM and AM are broadcast on the radio.
Six "C" batteries are required. 11X 81/2X 51/2 is the approximate size.
My phone is an iPhone 6, and I use Bluetooth to connect it to the Boombox. Of course, anything I can do on the phone is replicated on the box. Any USB device, including your phone, can be connected as well. Yes, I can skip tracks on my portable storage drive, which I connect. I hope this has been of assistance. Phil

This is a waste of time. Tape was inserted, but the radio continued to play instead of the tape. The tape was ruined because the radio was recorded on top of it. After installing six brand new batteries in the unit, I received a "low battery" message when I turned it on a few days later. The radio, it turns out, does not turn off when you press the off button; THE RADIO IS CONSTANTLY ON STANDBY AND DOES NOT TURN OFF COMPLETELY, SO BATTERIES ARE USED UP IN A VERY SHORT TIME. THE ON/OFF BUTTON ONLY TURNS ON AND THEN OFF, NOT OFF.
We were looking for a digital tuner radio and came across this. It lives up to our expectations of finally having a radio in the house with good reception. In the last three years, we've bought three different radios. The sound quality on the other two was poor, and the stations would become staticky. Radio with a 5-star rating!.
I only needed a basic radio that could play tapes as well as CDs. This one is ideal for the job, with excellent radio and sound.
Sony used to be a good product, but that is no longer the case. Overall, it was a huge letdown.
I'm glad I bought this boombox after spending a lot of time reading reviews for different boomboxes. It arrived in good condition and on time. It satisfies all of my requirements because of its small size, lack of bulk, excellent carrying handle, and pleasant sound. Because I live in a condo and sound carries, I bring it with me on retreats and use it upstairs away from my large stereo system downstairs. I did buy the additional guarantee, but I haven't used it yet.
It's been sitting in my den for about 12 hours and isn't worth a dime. It won't read any CDs, which means the laser is dead or the disk won't spin.
This radio is a replacement for an out-of-production model. It was simple to set up, and while the sound quality isn't quite as good as my old ghetto blaster, it does play CDs, tapes, AM and FM radio stations, and allows for quick programming of favorite stations. The Mega-Mega-Mega-Mega-Mega-Mega-Mega-Mega-Mega- A good feature is the base. br>br>It's made in China and, for the price, it's a nice addition to the home.
When I travel away from home, I use it as a recording player or radio to listen to music recordings and to play Bible recordings in personal study of that Book. Because of its practical utility, dependability, and low price, I gave it a five-star rating.
