Retekess TR621 CD and Cassette Player Combo, Portable Boombox AM FM Radio, MP3 Player Stereo Sound with Remote Control, USB, TF Port, for Family(White)

I tried three different brands, but none of them met my expectations. One brand refused to recognize a CD with multiple CDs and would "skip" sections of a song. The volume control would stop working after a certain amount of time. Another brand (which didn't have a cassette player) kept skipping parts of a song (random songs) even when you walked past it. This is a VERY SENSITIVE situation. For all three brands, the sound quality was poor. br>br>This boombox was just delivered to me today. I used a cassette player, a flash drive full of mp3s, and an MP3 CD player. Everything was in order! I got the impression from the way it was packaged in the box that Retekess takes great pride in their products. It raised my expectations for how satisfied I would be with this boombox. br>br>Retekess is well-versed in the following:
1. I really like the sound; it's very smooth and clear, and it's on par with, if not better than, my old Aiwa boombox. To get a good sound, I turned on the bass on the Aiwa. There is no T-shirt on the Retekess. It could use some bass, but it isn't required! Even with the volume turned up, I couldn't have asked for a better sound. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br It makes sense because the cassette buttons are labeled. FF and Rewind are written on the screen. 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. There is a force in the universe that has the ability to change things. turn off the switch A TAPE/OFF option is available on the left-hand slider. Because most cassette players don't turn on until you press PLAY, etc. , most never had a power button; however, the Retekess has a red light that illuminates when the power is turned on. The red light turns off when the switch is turned to TAPE/OFF. The red light illuminates when a tape is played. 4. br>br> Another annoying feature of the other models was that the LED would alternate between displaying the "Folder" and "Track" numbers, and I didn't like having to wait for it to display the track to see what track was playing. Instead, one of the models showed the track's TIMING! Only when playing tracks does the Retekess show the track. Yay! 5. br>br> The remote control has both a 10 button and a keypad, which is a VERY IMPORTANT feature. I can store over 250 songs on MP3 CDs. Getting to a track that I want to play is a nightmare. The 10 button is very useful, but even better, you can program the track number into the remote control and it will take you directly to that track. So EASY. There's no need to press the ENTER key at all. Simply enter the track number on the remote's keypad, and the player will play that track (if you are not in PLAY mode, you must press PLAY after entering the track number). LOVE IT! 2025 batteries are used in the remote. 6. br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br> Even MP3 CDs with over 200 songs load very quickly on the CD/MP3 disc! As soon as the cover is closed, the player will begin playing the CD automatically. 7. br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br> It has a headphone jack as well as a built-in microphone. br>br>The only drawback is that the LCD display does not light up, making it difficult to see the track number at times. I tried pressing the CD's Skip/Fast Forward button to see if the display would light up when the track was changed, but it did not. All of the other features I mentioned are, in my opinion, the most crucial. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> Where I've permanently placed the boombox, I haven't had any trouble seeing the track number. This boombox gets a lot of use from me, and I adore it. In addition, the controls and their placement are excellent.

  The participant is a bargain. The money spent was not well spent. The play/pause button did not function correctly right out of the box. The disc was paused, but it wouldn't resume playing when I asked it to. It would show me some strange digital display on the non-backlit LED screen, which is extremely difficult to read. In my video, you can't even tell it's turned on. The stop button was not functional. It didn't stop the player, and if you held it down long enough, it would fast forward. Oh, and there's a dent in the right speaker, too! On the same day it arrived, I requested a refund.

It's a nice unit with good sound and portability, and I like it a lot. There is, however, no switch to turn it on or off. If you connect it to the power source, it will work. it's ON. I bought a power strip with an on/off switch so I could turn off the unit.

This Retekees boombox has a lot of appealing features, including: It's well-designed, has simple controls, is simple to operate, and is advertised as having excellent sound quality. As a result, I made a purchase. It was a huge letdown for me. Above a certain volume, it's just tin box noise. Perhaps the speakers aren't up to par or aren't anchored properly. In any case, the sound of this product does not appeal to me. Is it possible to send it back? John.

The capacity of the flash drive, as well as the ability to play tapes and CDs and listen to the radio, seemed like a good deal. Unfortunately, the tape deck and CD player did not work due to poor quality control. The radio was fine, and I assumed the UBS portion worked, but because the most important features didn't, I had to return the item; I believe the manufacturer should test their models before releasing them to the public. They didn't do it, in my opinion.

This was bought to play CD music at a church function outside of the church. It went off without a hitch and did everything that was expected of it. We chose the one because of the additional features. (Remote control and tape player).

This small music player met all of my requirements. It performs admirably. All of the features worked exactly as they should have. br>At first, I was not fond of the white color, but it grew on me. It was a good investment. It appears to be quite appealing. When I want to take it with me from place to place while listening to music or attending a lecture, it works well on batteries alone.

It performs admirably. It's an interesting feature that it's "always on" whether batteries are installed or it's plugged in. As a result, take care not to deplete your batteries.
