The money was well spent. A couple of annoyances. The good: br>br>This appears to be a good option. Not hi- I think it's because of the wood case, but it's fine for a radio this size. The four preset buttons are simple to use once they have been programmed. br>br>This is significant because I purchased it for my nonagenarian mother, who is unable to use her phone or even Alex to listen to music. Simple was exactly what I needed. br>br>The battery life appears to be excellent - I had only listened for a few hours when it was almost completely depleted. It makes use of skytune. br>br> There are virtually infinite options for aggregating radio stations on the internet. The disadvantages: br>br> br>br>The annoyances aren't enough to put you off: br>br>Depending on whether the device is plugged in or running on battery, the buttons respond differently. (short vs. long)br>br>Setting it up was a pain. My radio came with a cable but not the AC adapter. Adapter for USB port I believe this was an oversight, but I still have a few. It's a simple interface, but you don't have to press all of the buttons. br>br>It's not rocket science. My mother, on the other hand, finds it difficult to complete the task. br>br>Note: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "creative I didn't use any of the other features, including bluetooth.

He'd had another radio for about 20 years, and it had finally given up the ghost. My husband and I did some research and discovered that this item had excellent reviews and was available at a reasonable price, so we decided to purchase it. It arrived in a flash, and the first thing I noticed was how light it was. I was hoping for something that wasn't too cheesy. My father listens to his radio on a daily basis, so I want it to last as long as possible for him. I sat down with it after plugging it in for a while. I carefully read the directions. kind of. and started messing around with it I was ecstatic with how quickly I was able to locate his preferred stations and save them as favorites as well as to the numbered buttons. It's not exactly the same as my Logitech EU, but it's still simple enough for me to figure out. What I really like about it is the ability to scroll through all of my favorites by simply turning the knob. My father will not be required to press any buttons if he so desires. The only thing that struck me as odd was the ability to turn off the stream. To get it on the clock setting, you must first press the button to stop the stream, then click the arrow through. I understand how difficult it is to engineer these things, but I believe they did an excellent job, especially considering the budget. I'm excited to get this in the hands of my father and see what he thinks. If I notice any problems with how he can or can't use it, I'll post an update. In addition, the white face appealed to me. My father should be able to read the icons without difficulty. br>NOTE: THIS PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED. We had high expectations for this radio, and it has exceeded our expectations. My mother picked it up quickly and is now able to assist my father in finding his favorite stations. Thank you so much. This purchase has made me extremely happy.

This internet radio station (WR-OceanDigital) is owned by Ocean Digital. The radio (336N) appeared to be ideal: ultra-portable, great sound, cool battery operation, typical internet radio fussy user interface, great price; however, the radio only lasted about three months before failing in a series of increasingly severe failures. br>Sending the radio back and forth to Hong Kong for repairs is not worth the money because the radio only cost $70 to begin with. Too bad.

I bought it for my shop because I was having trouble getting good radio reception on a consistent basis. I already had WiFi installed, so when I learned that I could use the internet to run my radio station, I went on the hunt for a device that could do the job. I had been using my laptop and iPad, which worked fine, but I had to lug them back and forth to the shop all the time. It also bound them up so they could be used for other purposes. Because it was so inexpensive, I had my doubts when I first heard about this tiny unit. But for sixty dollars, I figured it was worth a shot. It's fantastic! The interface is a little clumsy when it comes to entering the WiFi password, but once you do, it's simple to use. Because of this, I needed to remember how much I paid for the unit and to be patient with it. It takes a little getting used to at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's fantastic. I connect the source to my shop's sound system via the "Line Out" jack. If you don't have a system to connect it to, it also has a decent speaker on its own. I've told others about it and will continue to do so. It's a great choice for a low-cost internet radio, in my opinion. On the interface, I recommend watching a video or two on the device. That was the most beneficial thing I could have done for myself.
