This is both a male and a female end.

This will work with the Lowrance N2K cables in their starter kit, will it not?

The 10 ft wires are a bad idea
5/5

You can clean it up with the 20 ft In order to reduce the length of my NMEA 2000 cables under the dash, I finally cut some of them. Even though the price seemed a little high for what it was, I still decided to go ahead with it. The fact that I have accomplished this is very satisfying for me. Those bundled up wires took up a lot of space, which I did not realize. Having a cleaner dash makes me feel much better.

It was exactly what I needed to connect to my Garmin network
5/5

Having just a short amount of cable when connecting the GPS antenna from my boat's T Top to my network backbone setup, I was not able to connect it to my network. It would have been easy to install the cable with a 2-meter cable but I needed less than half that length to complete the installation. One of the reasons for choosing the 1 ft cable is to avoid interference. Due to the fact that I always want a strong signal, the shortest cable will aid me in getting that since it has only a slight loss compared to a longer one. As well as having the neatest connections in my center console, I wanted the most aesthetic look. In addition to the 2m cable, there would have been an excess coil of cable that I would have had to locate a good place to mount. With a straight shot to the network from the entry point, the 1 ft cable was just right. There is no problem with it.
