There are several types of MAP cards. It is a microSD card that can be inserted into different chartplotters with a standard SD adapter. A little ridge is present in the outer side opposite the side that you will insert, and you can grab the ridge with your fingernail to pull it. So you can put it in the Simrad GO9, you will have to remove the micro SD from the adapter. In response to a support inquiry, Lowrance provided that information. I am very happy with the results so.

Simrad is very bad at customer service

In the two years following the end of the two year warranty, I got a unit that got really hot and basically became a brick. I was told to buy a new one by technical support/customer service. This would be a bad decision if I bought another unit I wasn't sure would be warrantied. On my FLIR, I recorded 140 degrees Fahrenheit in the shade. The mere act of using that would burn my kid or my finger. disappointed with the outcome. It was not good customer service from Simrad, as they refused to stand behind their product.
