As long as Lowrance works with Motorguide that way, it will only work. To use Garmin trolling motors, you must purchase one of their force models

We do not know. The type of trolling motor I have on my boat is not this kind. Although, I believe it is just due to the garmin trolling motor.

This unit has a swivel mount, is that right?

If you want even more articulation, you can use a RAM mount or a swivel mounting system made by Johnny Ray.

The situation is not good

My boat is bouncing and I am worried that when it bounces the sonar cord will pop out of the back of my locator. I am not going to spend another couple hours disconnecting everything, taking it apart and sending it back to the dealer. I'll look into the problem and see how we can resolve it. I appreciate it.

We live in New England and this Garmin GPS comes with GPS for the Great Lakes! It appears you are heading in the wrong direction! An additional $120 needs to be spent on a new memory card for our region
