These were marketed as Nook Color-compatible. NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO If you need a charger for your original Nook Color, don't order these. The prong that goes into the Nook isn't in the right place. It's nothing more than a standard adapter. These will not work with Nook Colors because they require a longer than normal prong to insert into the Nook. They were courteous in returning the chargers, but I am disappointed that I had to go through all of this trouble when I would not have ordered these if they had been honest about the adapters' compatibility.

The two I had previously purchased from Barnes and Noble both broke after a few months. This one appears to be much more stable, and it even has a charging indicator light! So far, everything has gone well, and it arrived on the first day of the expected week!.

I had to get "permission" to return the item, and I didn't get the address until I was "cleared. " That, in my opinion, showed a lack of respect for the consumer's honesty and integrity. "Gear Depot" was the source of this item. Obviously, Amazon is being used for subcontracting.

It takes a long time for my to charge. I just got it today, and so far it's been great. This charger takes a long time to charge my nook color, but it does the job. The B wasn't equipped with a compatible charger. I was delighted to discover this website. The delivery was quick, and the price was fair.

I was overjoyed to find this at such a low price, but unfortunately, it does not work on the NookColor. It doesn't fit right, and the charging doesn't work. Make sure you don't throw your money away. Proceed to B. N and select the one that is specifically designed for your NookColor. You'll pay a little more, but it'll be worth it if you get the right one for your NookColor. This charger is of poor quality and, as previously stated, does not work with the NookColor. Very let down. Unfortunately, I had thrown away the packaging, believing it to be functional, and my son had taken the trash out before I realized I had a broken charger. Trash collection had already occurred, I had lost, and I am now unable to obtain a refund. I had purchased this as a backup and had no intention of using it, which was unfortunate for me. It might work on a regular Nook, but I'm not sure about that. Because I own a NookColor, I can only speak about my experience with it.

This charger was purchased for a nook whose charger had failed and which was no longer functional. Despite the fact that it was stated in the description that it would work in a nook, I decided it was not worth the postage to return it, so I kept it and am not sure what I'll do with it. I was dissatisfied with the product because it did not work on the item that it was supposed to.

I went with a 4 because I assumed it would resemble a standard nook charger. I was a little hesitant when I first got this because I was afraid it wouldn't work. I was, thankfully, mistaken! For my nook, it's ideal. I didn't notice any signs of charging when I first plugged it in, so I ignored it. Due to the loss of the cord, my Nook hasn't been charged in a long time, and I've had to wait about 20 minutes. It took 25 minutes for it to turn on, and I was so relieved when it did! Overall, this charger for my Nook has met my expectations.

The 1 Amp USB charger adapter is insufficient to charge the nook color, and the cable is a standard MicroUSB, so it won't "Fast charge" from a PC (normal charge time is 8 hours).
