The iPad 6 2018 9 is compatible only with this model of iPad. This item is from the A1893 A1854 series. Please check the model number before purchase. (See left for product images) A device's model number can be found on the back of the device.

Included in the kit are 2 x screws and a screwdriver for easy installation.

As of yet, I have not sold them

The old part has to be removed and the new one installed. Will it require soldering or is it as simple as removing the old one and installing the ?

I would not recommend it for those who are not familiar with soldering. You may, however, be able to repair it if you have experience soldering and a problematic lighting port. That's what I mean! I was very happy with how it turned out, even if it was a little smaller. It's not as easy as it looks. There is a VERY small lightning port on a lightning device. When you look carefully at the pictures you will see just how large the port looks. You know how big the plug portion of a lightning port is, but now you have to figure out how big the ribbon cable is. It has 48 pins and measures less than an inch at the end that connects to the computer. The small iron is essential, and you must have experience to use it.
