It should be noted that micro soldering skills are required; this is not a plug-and-play project! I am extremely fortunate to have access to the necessary tools, but this is not the case for everyone. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR PRODUCTS ARE LABELED PROPERLY!.

Don't buy it if you don't know how to solder. However, if you're a seasoned solderer with a bad lighting port. . . get it ! Despite its diminutive size, this is a very well-made product. Do not be fooled by the images. The size of a lightning port is extremely small. Take a close look at the photos to get a sense of how big the port is. You already know how big a lightning port's plug is, so calculate the ribbon cable's length. There are 48 pins on the end that connects to the computer/board, and it is less than an inch long. A small iron is required, as well as prior experience.
