I have done this kind of battery swap on my iPhone, Samsung phone, and a few other types The battery on this old 7" tablet belongs to my brother, and he wanted to replace it. While it is so old and slow, it may work for him since he is a senior. It takes a long time to charge up the battery, but I think it's just the way it normally operates and charges because the RCA unit is old.
