In the fight against proprietary, anachronistic, or downright stupid or useless cable connectors, it's been a long and arduous road. Once upon a time, replacing a power cord for a device was an absolute nightmare since no single retailer was expected to have all of these parts on hand. In the years since, USB has killed all of them, but there are still a few outliers waiting to cause you pain when the opportunity arises. You need to have a small appliance on hand that does not take a lot of energy to run. In any case, USB is the logical power supply for any device that requires 5V. There are a multitude of USB charger ports, and middle school science classes teach us that a circuit will not consume all the available power simply because it is there. Therefore, any device requiring up to three amps (depending on USB and device spec) can use a USB port. 5) This converter just happens to be next to a USB charging station. I like this. However, the company that manufactured this thing seems to have used a dumb, dumb, dumby stupid dumb DC barrel jack power connector that terminates in a wall wart. I'm freaking out This is fantastic. It's already been 24 hours since I have used all my outlets. I'm wondering how much power is currently required for this wall wart? If so, it certainly has a ridiculous draw to justify such a stupid power supply choice. How many volts and a single amp does 5V and 1A need? The DUMB, the DUMB, the STUPID, the In any case, this is the basic USB 2 spec for. With this adapter cord attached there is no need for the dumb wall wart anymore. I have a charging hub that supports two ports. The device happily consumes the 1 amp it needs for charging, so the 1 amp is being used to charge it. All of this being said, the most important thing to consider is the acceptable USB voltage and whether or not the USB port can supply enough current to power the device. A power transformer is required if the device requires more or less than 5V. This cable won't work if it needs more or less than 5V.
The plug I needed was for a rechargeable speaker I have, so I thought it would be great to buy this whole set with all the extensions I need so I can charge other things with it, It comes with an extension for the android usb and c type socket, which is convenient since I have a lot of gadgets for which those are the charging connections. I like the length of the power cord and the fact that it is robust.
To avoid buying yet another power brick that I wouldn't use again if I bought he're these power bricks
* But I didn't want to buy another power brick. Adapter for converting voltage up to 5V.
It was around $20 that I purchased from Amazon, but the dealer sent us the wrong cord. Amazon had to give me a refund, but Ann said I could do whatever I wanted with the damaged Trying your item for the first time, I found the first connector tip I chose fitted saved ourselves around $12 by keeping the old product instead of wasting it! My sincerest thanks go out to you!.
It was my own money that I spent to purchase this USB to barrel plug converter. This is my review based on that experience. This was purchased as a power supply to power a baby camera in August of 2020. Upon developing a short, it was out of warranty and the original power block had to be replaced. After reading the power specs, I discovered the USB cable was the only way to power it. We had difficulty finding a cable that was long enough to connect the camera to the power strip with USB capability. This multi set may be cheaper than searching for a plug that had the exact barrel style size I needed, but I found it difficult to determine which barrel style I needed. The plugs are all the same and the cable is standard. It's fine, not great, not bad, Photos will be coming soon.
It is very practical. I was very pleased with the charger. It worked perfectly with I love the effects plugins on it. You never know what you will need to use them.
This was the only adapter that I could find as I could never seem to find the right plug to match. I am pleased with the results so far.
