There is a gap between the SD card and the edge of the card. My experience with the device with a microSD is insufficient, since I have not used it with one. In my opinion, it doesn’t matter whether you keep the card in the device or

It worked for a short while before ceasing to work. I tried writing to a SD card plugged into the unit and it started writing, and then after a few seconds, Windows was no longer able to see the SD card. I was not even able to format the SD card without Windows reporting that the card had been lost. Despite the fact that the seller called to ask me to return the item and that it would cost considerably more than the original cost of the product, the seller never bothered to send me the replacement that he had.
Buying this item would have been much better if I'd checked reviews first. As soon as I put my micro SD card in, it started smoking, melted my card, and I lost all the data on it.
The light on the device seems to turn on when it is plugged into the computer, so you assume that After that, I put my microSD card into the slot, and it fits perfectly. However, my PC does not display the drive under the drive I finally got it to appear on the screen, and when I clicked on the drive, it asked me to insert a disk into the USB drive, but my card is already Therefore it is not working. It would have been better if I had known.
Building quality is excellent, but construction quality is far below what I would expect. I received it yesterday (on time), it was very well packaged and it was safe. The USB drive connected to the PC without a hitch, and it installed without a Here's a quick format of how it looks After working for a while, it is now finished. It took less than one minute for the copying of files to finish, and While the drivers were reinstalled, connected and disconnected, a continuous loop of beeps was heard each time multiple attempts were made to reconnect and access the SD. After returning it for an hour, I took it back. The only problem is that I couldn't wait for a replacement because it's essential for travel, so maybe it was just one dud, but it just doesn't matter. As far as I know, that's what I've experienced.
The quick thinking of me lead me to order this and make sure it was usb3. The number is 0. After it came I realized I had two laptops lying around that could have been used for the task. It's still good to use this piece of plastic since my desktop doesn't have a slot for this type of card. Let me go cry now and make myself believe that I am not acting on impulse.
We just received this this morning and returned another one we bought from here (Rocketek) that got WAY too hot after a simple formatting and file transfer of about 1GB. It can hold up to 6GB of data. In this device, I put in my PNY 32gb microsd card, copied the image off of it, formatted it, then wrote the image back and while it did get a little warm, it wasn't as hot as the other device. When I was writing the image back to the SD card, I noticed that the write speed had jumped up to over 90MB/s and thought I would take a screenshot. No idea if it's the adapter or the SD card, or if it's both, but I'm very pleased with them both. In the screenshot above it has dropped to 83 by the time I took it. In 7 minutes, when the image was finally written, it reached 72MB/s
This is the microSD card I used from Amazon it was around 4MB/s when it was written and 72MB/s when it was finished.
I connected it to my computer and saw that it wasn't recognized, so I peeked over and saw smoke coming out of it. It was very hot to the touch when I attempted to pull out the Micro SD card. When it became cool enough to handle, I removed the converter and took out the Micro SD card. My electrician friend said that it was an issue with the converter after I showed it to him, and I totally agree with Besides, it's from Samsung. I paid 50 Dollars for that MicroSD card! It's the converter that I believe was the culprit, because of its cheap price. I want my money back for both the converter and the Micro SD card.
The reader was a replacement for a lost one I lost. I chose it because of the price and not because of what else it has. The situation isn't necessarily a bad one. Despite that, I have noted that the material it's made of seems flimsier than that of the one I previously had. As of today (May 8, 2019), I have used it twice to transfer photos and videos, so far it has been working fine. I've had it for two days and it is working well. I see no problems with the device and everything seems fine. So, I would say the purchase was a good one. This is certainly not the worst choice you could make.
