Several of these are in my cart. The problem has been solved. Finding drivers and figuring out how to toggle between HID and KB emulation may be your only option. Most of them are set to HID mode by default, which I am using now, rather than keyboard emulation previously. The tools can be found on the Magtek website. These may be listed as "demo" files, but they are needed.

Although the price is great, there are some caveats

QuickBooks does not seem to work with it. Even though it is recognized, the CC cannot be read no matter what I do. Google tells me that it might not be a QB issue, but I'm not so sure.

Two of these were purchased three weeks ago and sent to a customer who didn't get them to My order was shipped back, and I tried them as well Windows will install, but the displays don't display anything

Therefore, I have bought two more thinking they were just done at that point, all four had the same problem! I get these emails all the time, so I have no idea what is going on.
