A cable service was purchased on 12/1/2017. I burned up the charging cable last night while charging my It seems to be charging fine, but I will have to see if it continues to do so. It seems like I should have gone with a Samsung cable instead.
For the past five months, I have been using this cord on my F150 with a cigarette lighter charger. There was a problem with the USB end. On one day, I walked into my truck and the smell of burning greeted me. I scrambled high and low in a panic, wondering what it could possibly be, and then saw the metal end melting. My vehicle has several cords like these, all charged with the same quick charger I've had for 3 years, but at varying lengths (I have to have multiple cords since kids and my husband steal them). Until now, I have never melted under one of them. There is nothing I would like more than to award ZERO stars for this! I am just glad this didn't cause a car fire!.
The USB C connector on this cable melted causing hot black plastic to leak out, which is dangerous. My wife was burned when this cable melted. There was no phone connected to the charger at that time. It had been using one of the OEM Motorola chargers that has never failed.
How often do Samsung T3 SSDs go with Samsung T3? Do you have a mental illness? It was silly of me to take the Amazon recommendation and give it a A reader assumed that the review was 5 stars at face value, and ordered the book without reading the reviews. That's so sad. Cables like this one are garbage because of one simple reason Built to USB 2, this device supports this protocol. This specification has no specification. Even if that were possible, how would you do it? It is unclear who came up with the idea of making a cable in 2017 that boasts a USB C connector on one end, and a USB 2 on the other. What do you find when you add 1 to Imagine spreading a most amazing piece of imported French Gruyère on a slice of wonderbread from August 2006 with a thin layer of lightly charred butter. There is no logic in this No matter what. It is recommended that the cable be USB 3 compatible. It is recommended that any cable with USB C on one side be a Any cable recommended in conjunction with an SSD should make a small attempt to match the SSD's specifications. The whole thing is In the T3 drive's box, there was an OE cable, so I didn't even need to use this cable at all. The review is 0 stars, and I would not recommend it to another person. Although I would recommend the device to a nemesis. It's a shame.
My phone worked well until about 30 minutes after charging it from the battery pack, it got extremely hot and nearly fused itself to the charging port. It was hot enough for the fingers to be burned on the small end of the cable. The cable failed (and became dangerously hot) only two months after it was installed.
A message was sent to the company informing them of the situation. I was assured that all their cables are tested and maybe one of their cables had a foreign object or debris in the phone end that caused the short. They sent me a new cable and seemed very sincere in their explanations, so I have no reason to doubt them. However, the most impressive part is that they sent a new one even though they had been out of stock for over a week. Back then, there were 5 years. The cable may have melted, but the explanation seems to point to it not necessarily being a problem with the cable. Moreover, the customer service was excellent, quick, and very responsive. I urge you not to buy this. I smelled something like melting plastic when I had this plugged into my car. The end that plugs into the phone was so hot, it even melted the carpet of the car! I looked all around and saw that the end that plugs into the phone was so hot it was melting! The fact that my phone stopped charging about that time on both this charger and the OEM charger also made sense. Also, a time when it got super hot while charging and messed up my phone's charging connection, I guess. It occurs to me that I was wrong about what I thought when I read reviews of a variety of different chargers I thought the people speaking of melting things were exaggerating it or that they did something incorrectly.
These have been a common order for me over the past year or so. The general impression I had was a positive one. Our most recent order, however, did not go as well. My family bought the most recent of these for a trip to the beach. When I first got the cord, it worked. However, the signal became intermittent within a few days. After putting a half twist into the device, it made a difference, and I could get through my trip without having to fix it. once at home (only a week after purchase), it began to fail badly. Today, it's a complete waste of time. I had to take into account how to rate it considering I bought several of them and only one of them has gone south. one hand, three out of four turned out well. Since the last one was defective, I'll give 3 stars to this one. My guess is that I’ll try another cord to replace it.
