Amazon Basics USB 2.0 Cable - A-Male to Mini-B Cord - 6 Feet (1.8 Meters)

A new mini USB 2 from AmazonBasics caught my attention. With my Blue Yeti Microphone, I can use the 0 cable. It's awesome! (Original Yeti cable was damaged, so any two of them were fit for function. This cable will work with a mini USB 2. 0 cable. My solution to this problem was to order this cable from AmazonBasics). Mic is mounted upside down on a Supon swivel arm with a suction cup for ease of use (Both bought on Amazon)- Auphonix aluminum shock mount A few velcro straps secure the AmazonBasics USB cable to the Yeti and then the USB hub, which I attached to my arm with the Yeti's USB cable. There is no better length than 6'. In fact, I purchased two of these cables since I'm always in need of longer USB I am a big fan of Amazon Basics!.

My cable usage with this tablet tends to be quite high as I can't seem to find one that keeps the for this cable indicate that it is capable of working with Wacom tablets, which is why I purchased it specifically to use with them. While the cable appears to be of good quality, it has problems staying attached to the Wacom tablet. Even if I move simply a couple of inches, it reconnects and disconnects constantly. It gets worse and worse each time I disconnect the computer from the tablet, to the point that I have to reboot the computer to get the tablet working again. This cable doesn't work great, but it's much better than this one. I switched back to an older model to alleviate the problem. The plugs seem to fit very loosely in the sockets, which may be why the connection isn't stable. I don't have access to another device to test the cable, but the sockets seem to fit loose in the plugs.

I've worked there for over 20 years. This point is brought up because when you are reviewing a product in their field of expertise, you take extra notice when the review comes from someone who has experience reviewing that product. *That being said, I went out on a limb a few years ago and used AmazonBasics cables and other AmazonBasics products in my The fact that I was new to AmazonBasics items did not make me get my hopes up too high. As a freshman in college there were few things I looked forward to more than receiving my first AmazonBasics*USB cable. The products are not only very reasonably priced, but also solidly built, and shielded nicely, not cheap looking or feeling. AmazonBasics products, regardless of what type of products they advertise as being for sale, are highly recommended.
Why is that? I think the price is very fair for such quality products. An example of a win-win There is no winning for either party. One can never ask for more, can they? I really do.

A charger for my GoPro was included in the purchase. I have had great experience with AmazonBasics products in the past, but this cable stopped working after only about a dozen charges after 7 months. A few years ago, I purchased a Blue Yeti microphone that came with a charging cable. I still use the cable to recharge my GoPro several hours a There might have been just one bad cable in a hundred, but quality matters more than price to me, so I'll look for a different brand of cable going forward.

The Garmin 57LM GPS didn't come with a USB cable since it would otherwise be an easy thing to attach to the computer (thanks Garmin *sarcasm*). For the 57LM, I was able to update the software and maps successfully. don't know for sure if it charges, but it does not seem to do so. In spite of the fact that the product describes itself as a data cable, it does not say it charges. In order to charge your GPS device, you will need a cable that declares it is a GPS USB The price was right for what I needed, and it looked like good quality, so I am satisfied. You may find one cheaper, but I liked the one I found.

The shielded cable is well made and of good quality. A pair of these power a small helmet camera that I use. The bump on the side that says "Amazon Basics" is the only thing I don't like about it. When two of these are used together, the bump is big enough to make it difficult to see the signs In addition, the bumps make it difficult to plug them in to other ports on or near that side. There are no bumps left after I grind them off.
