At a decent price, this is a reasonably rugged lightning cable that works fine. The length is appropriate and the quality is good. I think that it's not too big of an issue, but it's worth mentioning. Consider your options thoroughly before you purchase a charger if you intend to have your phone quickly charged somewhere where it is likely to be jostled a bit (ie in a backpack hooked up to a portable charger).
Initially, I purchased three of these cords at the same time. They all looked very durable and worth the price. Unfortunately, one of them split before we had even used it a week. However, the other two have been working perfectly. As soon as I contacted Amazon to determine whether the item was covered by warranty, they sent me a replacement at no cost. It is definitely worth the money, and it seems to be very sturdy most of the time. If you do have a defective one, Amazon takes care of it for you just as quickly as they do with other products. The next time I buy, I will.
My phone is frequently not charging when I am not touching the cable, even though it seems to be sturdy enough. My phone says that it is charging when I plug it in and set it down on a side table, but when I check on it later it no longer appears to be Whenever I plug the cable into my phone, I need to unplug it and plug it in again. With the cable that came with the phone, I do not have this problem.
A cord just like this is exactly what you see in The price is good and the product works well. In the case of many brands, you will not know how long it will last until Nevertheless, so far, there has been no change in the charges. There is nothing unusual about this. At its price, I will buy it again without a second thought.
The original Apple ones are faster, but they are not as fast as these. At such a price, that's a lot more than expected.
It seems to be working well. I bought two (in case one fails). It has been 2 months that I have been using one cable and I have not had a problem I have owned many lightning cables from different brands, but they all seem to last only 6 months, so I decided to try Amazon's lightning cable to see if it might last longer. Let's hope that's the case.
It looked sturdy, but my metal end has already snapped off after a little more than a week with the cord. My phone was charged from it as it sat on my desk at work. I am not sure if I just received a faulty one. Dropping it or putting excessive pressure on it did not harm it, just normal wear and tear. I am going to look.
Short cables are a pain because you have to be right next to an outlet, but this allows me to relax on my bed while my phone is charged (the charger charges the phone pretty quickly with this).
