I'm not sure if I remember correctly- I'm guessing it's China. I know that when I tried to contact the company after the cable opened and the wires frayed at the base of the lightning connector, I couldn't find a website with product support; just keep that in mind if you need ANY kind of customer service.
Yes ! That's the phone I'm using, as well.
I'm using it in a Volkswagen Jetta, and everything works fine, including music, maps, and phone calls.

It easily stretches to the point where I can bring it up to my face for a closer look! For a vehicle, I strongly advise using the shorter cables. In the front seat, black is also a good choice, purely for the sake of distraction! Any colored cable, in my experience, attracts my unwanted attention with my peripheral vision. Yes, I'm a jerk, but that's just how I am. I used to have a HAMA cigarette coiled cable, but it broke after three years of regular use, so I switched to USB. So far, I'm very pleased, and when I select iPod (I know, RIGHT! ), I get more visuals on the display with album art and other information. Instead of Bluetooth, you can use This cable is fantastic. Take a chance! A solid FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS.
It's what I use to charge or listen to music on my phone while driving. The fact that it coils adds to its appeal. It stretches far enough that I can pull it toward me to attach the phone, and when the phone is removed, it retracts to the point where you wouldn't even notice it's there. That wasn't the case with my previous 3 foot straight cable, which was always dangling in the open.
I like that this is how I'm going to keep my car's wire clutter to a minimum. It secures the wire and ensures that the distance between my phone and the USB charger, which is plugged into the cigarette lighter socket, is just right. Choose a length that is appropriate for your application. br>br>With the iPhone X, there are no problems with charging. It tucks into the lightning port like a glove.
I haven't had a need to stretch it to its maximum length because even though it appears short, it's still 3ft of stretchy cord. I have an iPhone 7 and there are no compatibility issues and it charges quickly. I don't suspect that this is a low quality product because the cord broke due to my fault, but overall it appears to be an awesomely sturdy and reliable charging cable and I recommend it.
As a precaution, I purchased two of these. 1st place. 5' all- In order to travel in Florida, you will need one car charging cable. Because I'd be relying on my iPhone's GPS for navigation, it was critical that they work, so I double-checked them all before leaving. They're all in perfect working order before and during the trip. This is a product that I wholeheartedly endorse.
This is an excellent item that is well-fitting. It's about 20 inches long when uncoiled and can stretch to almost 4 feet, but that's pushing it. The coil itself is a hard coil, which means that stretching it out requires a burst of strength and that it is very springy. We're using it for an outlet (with USB ports) we have under our kitchen island that will allow us to charge our phones while also "coiling" out of place and hanging down but not touching the floor when not in use. The coil allows it to sit comfortably on the counter, but stretching it to show someone something on your phone may necessitate unplugging it, as the coil will either pull the plug out of the outlet or spring your phone back and onto the floor. I'd recommend breaking it in a little and stretching it out a tad to give it some give and make it less stiff.
I bought a 3-foot cable. This is a good cable for charging your phone while driving, but it is not suitable for use as a passenger because the coil is very tight and does not stretch far enough to allow you to use your phone while it is plugged in.
I'd had enough of trying different cords that only worked for a few days. This one works perfectly with my iPhone 7. Plus, I like that I don't have a long cord dangling around when the power source is already so close to the phone. This is an excellent product.
