Performance of the stock
5/5

My M570 uses it perfectly, and it works well. Prior to the release of the M570, if you wanted a red ball, you had to go through some hoops and end up with a story which went
There is a community of M570 enthusiasts out there, and many of them say that replacing the M570's ball (grey-colored) will prolong the life of the machine TrackMan Wheel (livery black), with the Blue Mouse and Blue Ball of the Logitech Cordless TrackMAN Wheel (form factor same as M570, but light grey-colored ball) A red mouse with a yellow ball (ish mouse, red ball) boosts the By the way, keep your eyes peeled for the Logitech Cordless TrackMan Wheels. It did not help to speed up my pointer speed much at all. I found one, and I swapped it, but it did slow it My machine first slowed down to the pointer speed of 10x, then I had to crank it up all the way to get to middle-speed The speed of the ground pointer. When it does this, why does it do it? What is going on? I do not There are several factors to consider when choosing a ball - ball material, number or arrangement of small dots, etc. The answer is not clear to me. You can use this Perixx trackball to enter a number. You will now be able to control your M570 display with the same pointer speed that was available with the original blue trackball. You have won!.

This works with the Ergo MX and looks great! I love it so much! My favorite color is green, so if I was ever able to purchase one I would want a green mouse ball
5/5

It is a 34mm mouse ball which will fit in both the Logitech M570 and the Logitech Ergo MX/Plus. Based on my experience, I'd estimate it accelerates a little more than the stock Ergo MX/Plus grey colored mouse ball. A whole 11-inch HD monitor can be traversed with ease I don't have to lift my thumb. As of now, I can get 90% of the way across the screen with the stock ball, but not On Linux Mint, the mouse works fine, and the acceleration settings in the Cinnamon Control Panel Mouse/Tablet settings work fine as well, and there is no need to fiddle around with the settings. There are other buttons that can be programmable with Linux as well. Under bright light, the green of this ball will look very rich, slightly sparkly. As in the photo, it will appear green in low light, but it will not scream I AM GREEN like If your ball comes a bit sticky, just know it's normal and easy to remove through a cloth. There was one tiny bit of adhesive goop on the ball, but it was wiped off with a cloth easily. There were no scratches on the ball when it arrived.

This is a real The matte and glossy reds I used on my MX Ergo are still in my possession
3/5

It's neither like the original nor like the copy. However, I have not yet decided if the glossy ball is better or worse than the original. I can tell you, however, that the matte is not very convenient

First of all, there are a lot of delays. It gets so loud when scrolling that it is difficult to hear. This is still a better method than the original, however. am not sure whether it is worthwhile. This is especially so since the matte gives you an inferior experience when compared to the red glossy. Two, there are quite a few instances in which the matte skips. As a result of the movement between the mouse and dongle being so erratic, I believed the connection was being interfered with. The ball turned out to be all that was wrong. * In third, you will have to scroll a lot to reach where your cursor should It is tiring and annoying since there is so much noise. I am not sure if the fit or finish is to blame. I can only say that one good thing about the Matte ball is that the weight is pretty close to the original. In contrast, the glossy ball doesn't have this effect. This glossy is a lot heavier than the original, making it a lot glossier as well. A drag is also created by the combo. However, it seems to present problems of its own of its own, as opposed to the matte. Learning to control this glossy ball is a challenge, since the muscle memory has to be re-learned in its place. There is a significant difference between the two. In contrast to that original ball, the new version moves almost as if it is not As a result of this replacement, you are absolutely aware that it exists. I don't necessarily think it's a bad thing, just that it's
Which is why I have the tracking on its highest setting for the glossy version, to compensate for the extra As for the tracking, I had it set just a bit higher than the original ball for the matte any higher than that, and I would have lost the accuracy that I was looking for. As for the glossy one, I'm keeping it. Though I'm certain I'll get used to it in a day or two, the matte is going Due to the fact that both balls are on the same page, I am reviewing both in case I am not allowed to review the glossy separately by Amazon. In summary, *br*br For the matte, I give it one star. I rate the glossy three stars because it's loud, tedious, and stutters. There is quite a bit of weight to it and as a result, it is rather.

I used an MX Ergo and it worked great
5/5

In my case, I bought this replacement ball for the Logitech MX Ergo, which was adequately performing until I dropped it by accident and put a pock mark on the original one. While it still worked, the ERGO would occasionally get stuck when the support pegs caught the ball and caused it to resist- It's not so much that it can hurt anything, but just enough to really annoy me and to make digital drawing difficult. The replacement ball has effectively resolved that issue for me, and for me it has proven to be more than a worthwhile investment. In the M570, as well as the ERGO, the ball size is the same, so this ball can be used in either machine (I started using the ball from my old M570 in the ERGO earlier in the week while I was waiting 30 days are required for replacement It is a simple procedure and does not require any special tools, however, a pencil will be of great help in getting the old ball out. It is possible to choose from two different types of finish, gloss or The glossy in red was my choice. It has been an absolutely smooth operation with no catches and no resistance at all. As far as its performance is concerned, neither it nor the gray ball that came with my ERGO differ. It is also slightly nicer to me than the original silver ball as well as the blue M570 ball because of it's deep red. So far, it has worked out very well for me, and I did not have to spend any money on it. In the end, it only restored the trackball's function to before I damaged the original ball, which was all I was looking for. My experience with this ball makes me recommend it as an easy replacement if you happen to need to replace the ball in either a Logitech M570 or MX ERGO keyboard.
