My collection of hermitshell cases stands at three (in fact, I have four, but the fourth I bought awhile ago, and that mouse isn't used anymore). Its hard-ish case has a soft interior that has molded to the mouse, and it comes with a rugged canvas carry case It should have a carabiner and be outside. My backpack is now free of worry because I can throw my mouse in there without worrying. While it doesn't store the larger base that Ergo Plus comes with, it is compatible with the Ergo Plus. That one fits just fine on the standard thin metal base, though only in one position (it rocks via a pivot point and a magnet, so even if you don't use it in that position, you can always return it to the other one when you're done with it). I found exactly what I was looking for in a case, at a fair.
As a tech consultant, my job is to help companies develop new products. As soon as I am online- As I walk into a client site with all my gadgets and they see my backpack, they think it's funny because I have an office all packed up in there. The gadgets I always take with me on the road are a laptop, a laptop stand, a trackball, an extra ethernet cord, etc etc. I need all the comforts of my own office on the road. Having said that, my trackball is worth its weight in gold and if it weren't protected by this protective case, it would get crushed or tangled in my bag as it travels. I like the way this case fits so well, they even left room for my scroll wheel. In spite of the fact that my $100 trackball is so important to me, I like knowing that I can throw it haphazardly into my bag and it will be protected. You can relax knowing one thing is taken care of. Any case from this brand should do if you want to travel with your gadgets and protect them. I appreciate what you guys have done.
As for me, I prefer the co2CREA version that has a place to hold the cable and dongle. What's the reason? Because the shape of this one makes it hard to pack into a small bag. The co2CREA code is boxy and enables nice tri-angle expressions Within the confines of my tiny work bag, I can create an effect.
This case is well-made and fits perfectly, so it doesn't need to be too large. Despite the relatively low price point, it does exactly what it is intended to do. My last trackball mouse ate up my last case by not carrying it in a case, so replacing this mouse is a no-brainer when compared to the cost of replacing it.
I don't think it's surprising that the case is large too since the mouse is heavy. It does not add any additional bulk on top of what would be present for the mouse itself. I don't think it is compatible with the mouse with the possibly included "riser" shim that you can buy, but for me that's okay (still deducted A very good quality product, with a very good design and a very happy customer.
According to the advertisement, this should fit the MX ERGO Advanced Wireless Trackball, but it doesn't even come Search for the one that has the same price, that's the one you'll need.
As I travel a lot, I needed something to put my trackball into. I don't have to look in my luggage to find this because it fits my Logitech trackball perfectly. Useful when you are on the go. With this bag you can attach your laptop to your backpack or attach the clip to a computer bag.
