It will fit both the Logitech Ergo MX/Plus and the Logitech M570 since it is a 34mm mouse ball. It is neither like the original nor like the copy. I am not sure whether or not the shiny version is better than the original. However, I must tell you that using the matte is a real pain. There is a lot of drag on the system. There is so much noise while scrolling that it gets very loud. You get better accuracy with the original than with the transcribed version. There is no way I can tell if it's worth the effort. This is especially true because the red glossy offers the same (but better) performance than the matte version. A second problem is that the faded matte sometimes skips. I was convinced that the connection between the mouse and dongle was getting distorted because it skipped so much. The ball turned out to have been the only problem. The third problem is that you need to scroll a lot to get your cursor to where you want it. It is exhausting having to walk for so long, and it is too noisy. I have no idea if it has to do with the fit or I think the only good thing about the Matte ball is that it is pretty close to the original ball in terms of weight. Glossy balls, however, do not have the same quality as matte balls. In addition to being heavier and glossier, the glossy is much heavier than the original. As well as causing drag, the combo also produces an unpleasant smell. While not as bad as matte, it's in its own way, and that causes its own set of problems. This glossy ball requires a lot of relearning, as one has to basically relearn muscle memory in order to control it. This feeling is very different from what you're used to. With the lighter original ball, it moved almost effortlessly as if it were not There is definitely this replacement, which you are aware of. Previously, I had this replacement ball on my Logitech MX ERGO, which worked fine for me until I dropped it and it developed a pock mark after that. Even though the ERGO still works, it often becomes stuck when the support pegs catch the pad and cause the ball to resist the move. This limitation is not severe enough to affect anything seriously, but it is enough to make digital drawing difficult and to irritate me a bit. The replacement ball has taken care of that issue for me, and has proven to be a worthwhile investment. ERGO and M570 use the same size ball, so this ball can be used in either device (I was using the ball from my old M570 in the ERGO while I awaited the arrival of the new ball). 30 days are required for replacement In the second procedure you don't need any special tools, although you may need a pencil to get the old ball out. Depending on your preference, you can choose from glossy or matte finishes. In red, I selected the glossy finish. We have had a completely smooth operation with no catches or resistance at all. My ERGO initially came with a gray ball. This new ball does not seem to operate differently from the original gray ball. I find the dark red of this ball slightly more pleasing to the eye than the original silver ball or As of now it has worked out very well for me, and it wasn't an expensive replacement. The software has restored trackball operation to what it was before I damaged the original ball, which is really all that I could ask for. As I only have experience with this replacement ball, I highly recommend it if you need to replace the ball in the Logitech M570 or the MX Ergo.
