I agree that it is better than nothing, since it is static. Nevertheless, it seems to me that it is too large to be acceptable for a CPU for the long-term. My preference would be something smaller that would fit
You ask a good question. Thank you. Yes. These antistatic bags are actually antistatic on the inside as well as on the outside. Moreover, you can even use them to store motherboards.
These are very few that do, so I bought them because they actually do it. You can check the measurements in the description and measure your ATX if you think it has funky dimensions or has a tall fan on it.
It will be easy to fit a hard drive in them.

Make sure the size you need is the same as the measurements below. (Lieting flat) the bag measured out closer to 11" x 15" than the listed 12" x 16". As far as I know, an ATX board won't fit, I tried a few and they didn't. Please double check how big you need them to be and be sure to account for part loss due to the rising of The pants are too small. I expected them to be snug, which is what I wanted. Other than that, the bags seem to be viable.
During the time that I purchased my motherboard, I did not open my bag carefully, which resulted in damage. My motherboard was returned to the manufacturer and I bought these bags to return it. The bags were exactly the same as the ones I used when I purchased the motherboard. The motherboard fitted perfectly in the bags because they were the same size, shape and pattern.
In all honesty, I don't know what to say. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how I could test it to ensure that it does in fact protect my parts from static electricity. In any case, what I can tell you is that I used them to sell my PC components The buyer did not tell me that the parts did not work when they bought the car, which was a few months ago now. As a result, I will take this as a win and say that they worked on.
These are the generic commercial bags with conductive traces. They are the same as the ones provided with commercial IPC Class-based systems We have 2 assemblies in total. Although not the best, it's adequate for selling used computer components and returning them. The only irony is that it came packaged in a triple shielded ESD bag.
The ocean was the reason we had to ship computer parts. I was able to store motherboards and other parts with no problems. The system's large enough at least to fit an ATX motherboard, and even a GTX 1070 Strix (very long GPU).
I bought them to ship off my 1080 and 1070 graphics cards. Thanks a lot!.
In order to ship old motherboards I was no longer using, I bought these. As well as storing spare parts in some of them, they are also used for storage of Despite my lack of need, I would buy these again.
The original purpose of these was to send out a GPU & power supply The job was done It is large enough to accommodate MOBOS, however, I think the mini-mobo would be more suitable I am not entirely sure which motherboards would fit because I am not sure which atx would be best. Nevertheless, they do serve a purpose, and I am grateful for that.
