In my case I am using an external 1 TB WD hard drive and there is plenty of room left over. I am not sure how big the 2TB drive is, but the write up on this case indicates it is compatible with WD 1 TB, 2 TB, 3 TB and 4 TB drives. Portable external hard drives are available in 4 TB capacities, so I would assume it fits. You might have good luck with Amazon if you return it. I had good luck with them in this regard.
Although it may not seem like enough space to hold a Gdrive, it fits all portable usb drives up to the size of a passport.
What do you plan to do together? During travel, I store my Western Digital hard drive in the travel case with the cables.

Inside, I enjoy the cushions outside, I dislike the smooth surface, it's just not my cup of tea. The texture of the canvas appeals to me more. Particularly, I don't like the loop on the back (for the carabiner) The second loop just doesn't need to be there, and it would be a poor placement. One of the most popular bags made in China is just like this one, but many brands have ripped it off and remade their own version Although the materials feel cheap, it is an inexpensive product, so I have no illusions about how much protection I will get. I'm just looking for something basic to use in my home or office.
Well built, provides secure and padded protection, can store the drive AND its cord, the zipper works perfectly, and has a carry handle, as well as two big pockets inside for storing extra SD cards, if you wanted to store those. The "hard" shell does have slight flex, so this won't fit into any really serious situation, but for most everyday needs, it will be sufficient for most daily risks. Short of driving a car over it or someone jumping on it while wearing hiking boots, it should be sufficient. With this case, I like how the drive is secured behind a sheet of elastic and covered in a padded cover, so it's protected against drops. I like this case since it keeps it dust-free, has the cord attached, and it's just really cool to have an external drive! Here I'd give it 5 stars without a doubt, and highly recommend it.
This surprisingly inexpensive hard drive case is perfect for my new 4TB portable Western Digital hard drive. It is light and very sturdy, and unbelievably well made. It is just the right size, and it has built-in storage. In addition to its hardened leatherette case, padding, and detachable strap, this case is very stylish and comfortable to hold. My other portable hard drives have been well satisfied with this drive, so I ordered it for my new drive as well. The program works great on my Seagate hard drive, as well. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!.
This "soft case" is not as durable. However, I found that this case may not be a 100% hard case, but it serves its I know to pack it surrounded and not to place anything heavy on it because I will be taking it with me when I travel. Overall, it's a good case for my external drive. I like the pocket on the side and I like the double straps that help keep the drive secure. Considering that it comes with a carrying strap, I cannot for the life of me imagine how I could walk with it dangling.
i was looking for an external hard drive I could give to my mom. everything she owns breaks (the iPhone, the watch, etc). It was her first time using an external hard drive, so of course it fell to the floor. I found this case to be perfect for protecting it. This device is great because it has multiple sections for the cable and the hard drive. This prevents the USB connector from scratching the surface of the hard drive. A copy of that will be purchased by me within the next few months.
When traveling, this would be a great case to store your external hard drive. It was a fair price. I only had one problem with it I wanted to keep the USB cord attached to it. There is no way to do that in The size isn't I will, however, simply remove the cord from the case and store it separately. I don't travel too often, so I will not worry about it. There's a good chance most people won't even have an issue with this. I love the design of the case & it feels really sturdy Those are the best ways to protect hard drives.
So, it is important to me that that drive is adequately protected. Just that is done in the case. Because of the hard shell, I'm sure it will be just fine when it's in my computer bag, even though it may be handled rough. There is a nice fit between the drive and cable on this one. A drive case of this type would be beneficial to anyone with a need.
