Ginsco 2pcs EVA Hard Carrying Case for Portable External Hard Drive Power Bank Charger USB Cable Battery Case (Black+Blue)

I chose the Ginsco 2-TB case Two Pack (Black and Blue The blue) Hard Carrying Case for my two external hard drives Creating a backup solution for your site. Backups of disk images are taken from a drive and then backed up to another drive The site has my name neatly (cough) scribbled on it by means of As for the second drive, it still lives A site containing the most recent image of a drive. These drives are then swapped (at least for now) at the end of the week. The city of Presto, off-road I bought two identical drives so that I could use them for site backups and swap them over with ease. I had no problems as the network sees them as essentially the same, and the backup software recognizes it as such. Black and blue were chosen as distinct colors in order to help me stay on top of them. As an additional means of limiting the likelihood of confusion, I picked up two cases with similar colors. In fact, they are a hard case made from a canvas weave and have a lightly padded interior shell. They glide smoothly, have two zippers, and are made of a smooth material You can open or close tabs in either direction using these tabs. A mesh "pocket" stores the drive's data cable within a mesh "pocket," which aids in securing a drive on the inside with an elastic band. Unzipping the drive does not allow the drive to fall out, at least I didn't. Please note that I am using this case for a slightly smaller drive, and it works perfectly well because of the elastic band attached to it.

As far as the cases themselves go There is a certain degree of rigidity to the cases, so scratches and dents can be avoided, but there is no actual impact padding. I like this blue but it doesn't match the listing photo. It's more of a dark teal or green green color. The zipper tabs can come off by accident due to a gap, as other reviewers have pointed out. The following other uses may apply to this product It has a snug fit and is good for holding Odroid Go and the power cable. If you remove the cable, a retroflag GPI will fit, but won't be a tight Here are photos of gaming devices in the case, as well as a gap on zipper pulls. I hope this information is useful. Although these cases provide decent shock protection for your HDD, they do not provide any impact protection.

I use this for reloading the scale I use for pistols. This is a great little EVA hard case that you can get for less than $5. There was no odor in mine, contrary to other reviews. The case has hard sides, rather than padded sides. The padding of hard cases is not included unless stated otherwise. Furthermore, no reference is made to padding in the description. It is for this reason that I bought a large sheet of 1/4" closed cell foam (yoga mat) many years It is just a matter of cutting a length of material for whatever I need, You can add padding if you like. My scale was the perfect size since I had a tape measure and I learned how to measure things in the 4th grade.

The zipper is prone to popping open behind the tab when pressure is applied from the inside. You want to make sure the items you put inside fit snugly without squeezing or you will have issues. Zippers are bad. It wouldn't be worth it for me to go through the trouble of returning it for 5 bucks. According to what appears to be the case, you get what you pay for.

Not happy. Hard drives/electronics belong in a "hard" case, right? Why would they make something that doesn't seem, well, tough? Its edges are okay, but with no effort, you may be able to crush it just by touching it. They were intended to accompany my external hard disks. A total of 25 cases have been filed Standard drive sizes of today will slip, despite the mesh, because the mesh volume is 30% too big. Furthermore, there is no padding inside, meaning that the product will bump against each other. Anyway, that's what $7 gets you in the end. Returning it would be a waste of time and effort. The following items are being thrown in the trash.

In an attempt to get the carpeted areas to smell better, I've put some scented dryer sheets in a bag. But it did not work, hence the bag. This is a good one to avoid! Although the case itself seems like it would have worked fine, that's a shame.

It turned out that the drives I had ordered were thinner than the ones I There is thus a lot of action in the matter. As a matter of fact, I could (if I wanted to) place both drives in the same Two of them were purchased so I'd have a back up on hand and one to store away for the future. I like the way that wire fits. You know, etc. My overall opinion is that I will be able to rely on it.

I previously owned one by another manufacturer, which had more padding (this case does not have padding). However, I suppose this one is not as bulky, so I guess it depends on how much abuse you think your hard drive will go through whether this is a good option As an occasional traveler and storer, I always bring my IPad with me on planes & trains I keep it in my purse most of the time, so I think it will do just.
