Could be, but I'm not sure
There is no need for USB, only white 5pin and white 8pin plugs are needed.
Please note that this circuit board does not have LED power. You can still use the button, but it won't light up.
Why would you connect it to both consoles at once? You could just connect it to the console you are currently using and if you change, connect it to the other console.

For the past few years, I have been in need of a mother board replacement for my Madcatz Fightstick PRO (PS3) stick. A while back, I was looking around for a PS3 compatible board when I found this one. The board was advertised for a low price, and was said to work on the PS3, PS2, and PC. It was a must that I try it. My stick has taken on a new lease of life after I acquired this board. In reality, this board can be used for a number of things beyond what was I had no problems using it on my PC and my Android. My PS3 immediately booted up P4U and I was up and running in no time. In the end, it was the PS2 that stood up to the test. It worked out of the box when I loaded up Soul Calibur 2. Those of you who know a thing or two about Playstation controllers will be aware that the first and second generation It came with tekken 3, and I went from a 2 generation stick to a 3 generation stick. My mind then came up with the idea that some PS4 games also support legacy controllers, like As luck would have it, I just received a 4 Generation (Or sort of)
Now let's talk about the board.
Installation is easy and comes with a usb/ps2 cable, a 5pin joystick cable, and 12 quick disconnect buttons. Eight buttons and four menu buttons are the perfect amount for an 8 button layout. The quick disconnect cables will need to be increased if you plan on using more menu buttons, or if you plan to use stickers (more advanced users should be able to splice up the 5pin). In addition to the board's lack of a manual, there is no pinout picture posted on Amazon, so I will need to use that for now. It was even more disappointing that the layout of the face buttons (ABXY) in the picture was not labeled correctly, so I had to guess and check. The inconvenience is mild, but not necessarily a deal breaker in any way. Overall this board gives you more than what you pay for, and will fit the needs of all gamers, regardless of whether you're searching for an Xbox 360, PS1 or PS3 board. You don't have to pull out your wallet, you get it all, all in one board. If you are a retro fighting game or Bullet Hell fan, you should certainly check out this product. Overall rating 5.
Building a retail display with arcade controllers and an old android TV box was the thing I was working on. I had no opportunity to upgrade the android OS and was stuck with a lower version of the OS, so I was unable to change the quick launch key. As a result, on the other arcade board that I own, when I hit a button, it would do the default quick launch action (such as starting up the music player). As a result, I was unable to finish the project, but this is not a problem with this board. I am able to complete the project simply by pressing buttons on this board and not by using quick launch settings.
It works fine on a Beelink GT King Android Box when I use it for virtual pinball. It is similar to the encoder I had purchased from SJ@JX in that the top "Left" and "Right" buttons register the flippers correctly. At least this one cost double as much as the previous one, but.
I like the compact nature of the PCB all connectors have already been installed It is manufactured. I haven't encountered a problem with this! With this one, I was able to replace the original PS2 pcb within half an hour. My DDR pad is now working!.
Kthesee did a great job.
Perfect for PC emulation and for playing on a PlayStation 3. A few issues with the Neo Geo emulator were the only ones I had.
I love the quality of this product! This is a must-buy USB encoder if you want a good one.
This is a must have when building an arcade.
