If you've ever used a standard N64 controller, you'll know that when the joystick breaks, that's the end of it. It's not working. These controllers were purchased by me. The joystick slides on rather than being a single piece connected at the base, as you can see in my photo. br>br>Of course, I'd rather have the joystick piece slide off (and then be able to push it back on) than break off and be unable to use the controller again. br>br>My issue with these controllers is that the joystick is constantly sliding off. I'll be playing Mario Kart and the stick will suddenly fall off. Because the entry point is so small, I have to pause my games when this happens so that I can focus on getting it back on. br>br>I like that the joystick can be reattached rather than breaking and rendering the controller useless, but I don't like how easily it comes off.

At work, we have an N64, and a few of the guys and I enjoy playing Smash Brothers during our lunch break. We had a couple of the original N64 controllers that were starting to fall apart (it's amazing they've lasted this long), so we purchased four new ones, two from this company and two from a third party. I gave the other company's product a similar review, with the exception that these controllers were not as touch sensitive as the other two. br>br>These are a must-have; as Ness, my grabs and rolls are razor-sharp, and my jumps are lightning fast. I've only had these controllers for a month, so there's a chance they'll start to malfunction. If they break down at some point, I'll post an update with a time stamp for how long they worked.

At work, there was some trash talk, and we had to settle it the old-fashioned way. With the N64 version of 007 Goldeneye. For my N64, I only had two controllers, both of which were original Nintendo brand controllers from the 1990s. These are essentially Chinese knockoffs, with the exception that the Nintendo logo isn't molded into the controller. The length of the cord, the weight of the buttons, and the texture of the plastic are all identical. Because the analog stick spring is nice and tight, I prefer them to my old controllers. My original controllers are rusted to the point of being useless. Needless to say, these arrived in two days, and while the boss was away, I brought my N64 in and we worked out our differences like we used to. They've worked on every N64 game I own, which is pretty much every popular title.

720p or 1080p would be a good choice. It's not even close to being 4K. The n64, on the other hand, is pixelated to the max. The controllers weren't a problem, but I wasn't prepared to be heartbroken after spending money on mariokart. If you're trying to play mariokart with friends like I was, go with the switch. What's up with the short controller cords? I bought extension cords, but they're still too short; I guess that's how it was when I was a kid, and I don't remember. I bought these for 007 and Mario Kart, but I think I'll have to upgrade because televisions have changed the game. br>However, if you're certain you need the n64 controller, these will suffice; the only performance issue I encountered with these was a slight tendency for the joystick to wander. When I grabbed it and moved it instead of leaving it alone, it was easily fixed. And I'm not sure if this is a common problem with NES controllers.

I recently received two of these controllers, which are compatible with the Nintendo 64. I suppose they're not bad for the price; they're neither the best nor the worst, but I wouldn't recommend them. You can tell they're made on the cheap. I've got some old controllers that still work. I simply needed new controllers because my joysticks were wearing out. Super Smash Bros. , Zelda, Mario Party, and Golden Eye are just a few of the games I've been playing. They just feel a little flimsier than any other N64 I've used and a little less comfortable than an original. Also, the joystick can be pulled right out, and it turns on and off, which I don't like, and it feels like they're about to break on me. br>br>However, someone who only plays once in a while may not notice a significant difference, and they may be perfectly acceptable and suitable for the casual player. br>br>To summarize, these controllers work, but they feel cheaply made in almost every way, including the material, buttons, and plug-in wire, and I would not buy them again.

For one thing, they're a third-party brand, and for another, they're expensive; I've never been a fan of third-party controllers because I don't like the way they feel. These controllers, on the other hand, are extremely comfortable to hold. For almost a month, I've been playing games like Super Mario 64 and Super Smash Bros, and I'm very impressed with the joysticks' durability. I've read a few reviews about the analog stick falling off and how easily they break, but I've never had a problem with mine. Moving on to the price, which is actually quite reasonable; I was a little skeptical because cheap, third-party products tend to break down quickly; however, this is not the case with these controllers; for only $20, they are an excellent value. I've heard that the analog stick on Nintendo's official controller is breaking down quickly, and that they're aiming for a lot more. If I had to choose, I'd go with this product because it appears to be very durable and gives me a nostalgic feeling when I play some of my old N64 games.

The controllers are fantastic. I've only had them for 8 hours, and I've been playing for that long. It's unusual to have a stiff controller stick, but it works well. They are appealing to the eye and perform admirably. This seller as well as these controllers come highly recommended from me. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> I just disconnected the controller wire from the N64, and it failed completely. It disintegrated, and I'm unable to reassemble or repair it. br>br>I'll send an email to the company to see if a refund is possible.

I thought they were great at first, but after a week, the cable began to separate from the remote. I was dissatisfied with the product and felt it was a waste of money.
