Questions & Answers

Does the Arctis Pro headset have a loud sound?

Three pairs of steel series headphones, including the arctic pro with game DAC, are currently in my possession. The number of times I have owned mid-range headphones is probably 15 Headphones of the highest quality. steel series arctic pro with game DAC have a louder sound than the majority of Xbox and PlayStation The problem with headsets is that without a PC, you can never use them to their fullest extent. There's some reason Microsoft and Sony have weak sound cards, or their volume is purposefully lowered. My $300 Xbox-branded shoes make me feel like I'm in a world of my own If the Astro A50s are used with the Xbox, they produce probably only 20% of the volume as the same pair used with a PC using standard Realtek

There has been a lot of talk about the wired with audio dac sounding better than Would anyone be willing to ?

Almost no difference can be heard between them. When people say a wire is better because it is analog, they are overlooking the fact that audio from your games and computer is As long as you are not listening to a record player, you are listening to For the purpose of using your PC or other device's processing power, you can always connect the aux line from your headphones directly to it. Whether you choose a wireless or wired connection for a game, you'll get the full array of sound.

What are your instructions for using this with a Nintendo Switch docked?

The Switch is a portable console with a USB port that I use for gaming I'm C - Adapter for wireless networks. The dongle is also connected to one of the USB ports on either side of the dock via an included USB cable so it can be used when docked. Having used these headphones on Switch, I can confirm that they connect beautifully and sound great. For instance, when playing Fortnite, the camera is very directional. When my kittens were in my bedroom, I thought they were kicking things off the text table (they aren't allowed up there). The headphones are very comfortable and let you hear what is going on around you, though they do muffle some of it. Sound quality and sound quality are excellent, and I am very happy with the sound.

Do you know if it will work on Xbox One?

Because the headset has a 4-hour battery life As you only need to connect the left, right, ground, and microphone poles, you should be able to just plug it into the controller. Several years ago I purchased a pair of HD headphones with only a 3 pole, so I got an adapter to attach to them The microphone is hooked up to the headphones like a fashion boom bro mic. After that, I just connected it to my controller, and my party/game chat worked as intended. *br> *br>Deep-spliced cables would be the same as well. Add the v- at the end 0 pole 3 plug is in style and just plugs into a 4 pole 3 socket. A headset connected directly to a controller is just 5mm.

It is a great Wireless Headset choice for both PS4 and PS5
5/5

So far I have gone through three headsets (the official Xbox One headset, the PlayStation Gold Wireless headset 2018, and a Razor headset) looking for a new headset that would have decent audio and mic quality, as all the headsets I have purchased have had build quality issues and terrible microphone It seemed too good to be true (very affordable price for a wireless headset, and compatible with 3 consoles) but to my surprise, it lived up to pretty much all its predictions. Wireless connectivity works flawlessly with its included dongle, and I have not experienced any dropouts or latency issues at all with it on either the PlayStation 4 or It is true that I originally bought this headset for the PS4, since I was convinced wireless headsets weren't compatible with Nintendo Switch, but the headset does work with the console The headset works on both systems with ease and all the controls on the headset work properly (Mic Mute On/Off, Volume Dial). There are excellent mic qualities as well as audio quality, the sound is well balanced among the consoles and is not disproportionately dominated by bass, and you can raise the volume very high on both systems if you wish. It has a great battery life so far, I don't have to worry about it when using it and I just need to charge them once a week to remain accustomed to having them charged. In terms of the headset itself, it does not feel flimsy at all and seems decently made. It is quite light and is surprisingly comfortable to wear, so much so that I also use it when I'm using a There is only one thing that slightly annoys me when switching between consoles and wishing to use the headset on it, I have to remove the headset dongle and plug it into the console I am using (such as from a PS4 to a Although this is something of a first-world problem, I have been hit by it occasionally.

Overall, I think this headset is really fantastic, so if you are on the fence about buying it, I highly recommend it. The June 2020 update is as follows Since I bought this headset eight months ago, I just wanted to let you know that it has maintained ROCK SOLID quality during that time. In terms of durability, this thing is by no means flimsy, and the battery life is consistently exceptional. During the past few weeks, I have had really long gaming sessions, about five hours each We played for 6 hours each with friends online, and this thing just keeps going without a glitch. This was among my few purchases that I can say I got full value for my money. I believe this is the final update for April 2021. It works flawlessly with the PS5. I was able to get a PS5 and was so happy I did. One of the things that I love recently about the headset is that it connects to the PS5 via a USB cable The USB-C port is also located on the front of the headset, so you won't need to use the included USB cable it comes with As far as I'm aware, you can plug it directly into the PS5 and it sits flush and is almost impossible to notice.

I have broken a Steelseries product, but Steelseries rejects to replace it
3/5

I had to replace the headphones and gamedac after little more than a year. Steelseries has not honored my The Steeleries representative told me that I needed to destroy the product, then prove that I destroyed it in order for my warranty claim to be I received a code to use on SteelSeries' web store, but it only provided funds sufficient to replace the gamedac - and it didn't provide funds for anything else. These headphones are not the problem. Although I have contacted Steelseries multiple times regarding the claim, I have not received a reply.

The PlayStation 4? That's right
5/5

I don't know why people post reviews of the company or company policies in reviews. This is odd. The only reviews I write about Pizza Hut are the ones that say I'm The pizza they sell there is delicious, which is why I choose to buy them. In any case. I've never heard anything as good as this headset on any platform I've These are all the ones I've used. The entire Astro audio lineup, which is cheap garbage by the way, goes all the way up to Sennheiser There is a phenomenal quality to the sound. This is an outstanding product. There are some idiotic Don't take our word for it see.

The quality of this work is poor on many levels
3/5

The batteries went bad after about two years of use, and the charger broke. I had to replace my Siberia 800 since that time. Well, that's okay, I thought. A fluke of excellent quality and a chance to buy a more expensive model. There is no line out jack on the base station of the Pro Wireless, which arrived broken. The SteelSeries support team seems to know a cheap jack is in there, so they first advised me to try different cables and push my headphone cable in harder. In the event that that didn't work (the jack was DEAD), they put me through the most absurd RMA process I have ever It's not like I can photoshop those). So I made screenshots of my receipt with the toolbar date visible (should I be unable to do In addition to printing an email, breaking the headphones in half, and taking pictures, they required me to print an email. A few days later, I get a coupon for a new product. All my time is spent on this. It makes no sense to make headphones that cost this much in such a shoddy manner.

You can use these instead of the Astro A50 (for PS4)
5/5

Prior to this, I had the Astro A50s. The wireless headset i had for my PS4 is by far the best headset (wireless) i have ever had. As well as the Razer Thresher 7, I had a Sony Playstation 3. The thresher and the a50 both gave me feedback which could be rectified, but it was caused by sidetones, which neither headset allowed me to adjust. In addition, the arctis pro wireless offers an option to adjust for sidetones, so if you're constantly experiencing feedback as the result of sidetones, you shouldn't have any issues However, the sound is fantastic on the wireless version, but I must note that it is better on the wired version. I have a toddler running around, so I need wireless. Additionally, the battery swap feature is also very useful since you will never have to worry about forgetting to charge the transmitter as long as a spare battery is As well as being comfortable, they are also very stylish. In this price range, you can either go with these or the Astaros, and speaking as someone who has both, I would recommend the Astaros. I had to send back the astros twice for repairs, and dealing with their customer service was a hassle. The headsets never lasted more than two or three months before I had to send back for repairs. These have been my go-to earphones for over a year and I have yet to find any issues. In rare cases, I might turn on the headset and get feedback, but I can usually fix the problem by turning it off and back on again. I would prefer these to the Astro A50's if you're debating the two. You should buy the extended warranty when you buy the Astro A50, as they will only work for about a month before you need to send them in for repairs.
